Hey guys and girls i'm new here and look foward to learning more and more about growing. I just kind of started off messing around with growing a couple seedlings from an excellent batch and it's evolved to where it is today. I've been growing them in a window, but just recently bought a 400 Watt HPS+MH Grow Light and plan on putting them in my closet. The buckets they're in are two gallon buckets. Any advice or suggestions are encougraged and welcomed. Thanks guys here are some pictures over the various stages although i'm missing some from in between!

Also quick question... when should I put them under the HPS lights on 12/12 to start flowering?

welcome to the site.
looks like you are doing a fine job and the plants are ready to go 12/12 now(unless you want some trees) as they will grow 2 to 3 times the height they are just now when you flower them.
good luck.

Well I'm definently not looking for trees so I guess I'll get them under those HPS lights ASAP. Thanks

welcome again, and yes, you are doing a fantastic job. how tall is that? if they're at least 1ft. tall, i'm sure u will get a good yield. i think some ppl dont veg for even that long.

Welcome....... good start...

I will point out not to put more than one plant per container... If you get a male you damage roots, stress/kill plant if you try to remove.. if you kill it(male) the root rot can screw the other plants....... Luck..

Thanks and yeah as i've been reading on here I learned that putting more than one plant in a pot can be a bad idea. Guess I wont be doing that again :wall:

yea you will need to give them extra phosphorus. so something like 1-10-6 would be good. if you buy a product that has 'bloom' in it, like Earthjuice Bloom, it will have that kind of NPK ratio that your plant will need.

Hey so here's the update on the cab and the plants are now in there second day of flowering. The Cab isn't done, but will be soon, so here's the temp setup!! LMK what you think about it and if the temps and humidity are ok. I kind of had them a little to close to the light the first day and browned a couple leaves :(
