glass coke bottle work good the hard part is drilling out a slide hole with a glass drill bit

I'll need to get a Dremel to try glass bottles. That has been something I have been thinking about. &quot;Recycling glass bottles in to bongs&quot; When ever I go to the liquor store I look at bottles that would make cool bongs. at walmart they have Balsamic Vinegar bottle that would be nice to use.

Just use the cork method for glass bottles, no glass drilling required

you dont need a dremil to drill a hole in a glass bottle...you just need good drill bits in a normal drill + some car oil for lubrication...just take it slow and drip oil on the tip of the drillbit and on the hole and it will make a nice hole without breaking the glass

hey man if it works go with it. When I don't have a glass bong Itry to make one out of the biggest thing I can find...last time it was a Tropicana bottle...a gallon I think...was awesome, used it for like 6 months no joke.

Ok the bottle in the 1st post is a 8oz bottle. It worked ok but the steam was so long that the bottom started to melt. So I went up to the next size its a 16oz bottle. There is nothing wrong with this size. Its large enough so that the bottle will not melt. But I can't be happy with that. I seen the 48oz monster at wal mart the last time i went. I am bugging my wife to hurry up and drink it! Here is a photo of all three sizes and a can for scale.

my mom's neighbor makes bottle trees, she workn on drinkn a case of drambuie now hehehe
