ok so i am moving to a new house and it is time to step up my grow. I'm currently running 1 600w with a basic wing reflector in a 4x4 area, nothing special but it gets the job done with minimal complaints. Now i will be moving on july 1st and i have a full basement that i will only be using for my grow, so I started to draw up a little diagram to figure out where to place everything in the room and also make a list of what i will be needing for supplies. This is the setup i have in my mind for my flower room, any feedback would be great. oh and i do use soil as my med. So far this is my list of what I need.
grow room.jpg
3 1000w ballast
3 air cooled hoods
4 fans
2 6in high velocity fans
1 c02 tank
1 ac/dehumidifier
1 water filter system
Now my one main concern is my lighting, just by looking at it i don't think that it is enough, i may need a 4th. Unless i put them on a moving rail system??
Again any feedback would be great ty.

If it were my area,I'd ditch the idea of one big room and break it down to a few smaller rooms within that room, flippin and floppin and set 30 or so days apart for more harvests per year. Also it is easier to dial a small grow than it is a large grow room.I'd also ditch the hoods and go bare bulb vertical for increased nuggage and decreased larfage as well as having pretty much four times the canopy area than a horizontal grow in the same space.

Other than that,3kw's ain't enough to cover all 12' x 10' of that room...that only equates to 25w per square foot. Each 1kw HPS will cover a 4x4 area which is 16 square feet....16x3=48 square feet.So you could line them up side by side with a 4x4 table under each one....but I still like the idea of a few smaller flip pods in that room.
