hi ervyone!

this is a cool site guys i've been on it since 4 this morning haha.. anyways i just started to grow in a very small grow box, its a little bigger than a computer tower.. at the moment im using 3 cfls 32watts = 150watts, 18watts = 90watts and a 55watts = 200something watts,
are these lights enough for 2 plants which are 2 1/2 weeks old? they are about 2 to 2 1/2 inches tall.
another thing to consider is that i am currently using dwc hydro system.
at the moment they are starting to have brownish dots on the tips of their leaves...
what would be causing this problem??
thanx

thats more than enough for veg phase. Hell, I grow huge plants under the stock aerogarden lights (2X15W?). You are going to need more for flowering though.

thanx alot for the advice.. how many warm light cfl's do i need for flowering???
one more thing i change nutes solution last night, i checked th ph level this morning and the alkaline level of the nute is way too high... i always make sure that ph level is just right before i get out the house.

any ideas why my alkaline level shoots up overnight??
How do i keep my ph level neutral??

thanx in advance.

Just get a good sized bottle of Ph up and ph Down. Garden Knome has a tutorial on here on how to keep your water balanced.

My guess for your alkaline question is, your alkaline is shooting up because your nutes have too much Zinc. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody lol.
