Well I have not smoked in over 20 years when I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer so I'm back. These are the first things I learned and I suppose most Noobs as well. I found a seed in some killer and dropped it in wet paper towels, bought a $9.99 grow bulb at Home Depot that said to position 12" to 16" from plant when in reality it should have been 3" so I got 5" of stretch in one day. I hit the net and found lots of info good and bad. I buried the little thing deeper and she is now doing well. I've done Bonsai gardening for years so I have some growing experience just not with weed. So now I found this site and read several very informative posts and despite my paranoia left over from the 1970s, I joined. I think I will like it here!

Bonsai gardening is great! Cannabis loves no till containers if you have that experience with bonsai. I follow similar practice and you can’t beat it…..IMO of course.

Welcome to riu and first off invest in a good light unless gonna grow out doors. Their are a lot of good inexpensive grow lights. The grow bulb from Home Depot will only be hood for the plant as a seedling maybe
