New Indoor Growing, Need Review.

I'm really New in this Cannabis Growing
so this is my first time
I was growing an AK-49 Feminized on 17 of November, so it's been 6 days since it was a seed

Detail :
1,2 m x 1 m Room
400W HPS
1 Outake Exhaust 8 inch
1 Fan (wind)

the Plant it growing now, it's like 8 cm now, and it's look beautiful

condition :
-the temperature now is about 28' Celcius
- i put the light around 1 foot above the plant
- 18 hours of lights, 6 hours of dark
- i'm using only soil that i bought from gardening shop and Evian distilled water (I'm Gonna Change it to Aqua, if you now it)
- i put the grow room inside my bedroom
- i water it like when it's dry, i checked the soil wetness. it's like once/2 days
- i'm still not using light timer, so i still do it manually, sometimes it's late for 5 to 10 minutes

My Questions :
- is the condition okay?
- should i worry about my soil or water?
- is turning of/on the light manually would be a bad thing?
- when would the flowering time be?
- how long would it take to harvest?

hi sounds ok, when you say room do you mean tent? just you say 8" out take what about intake? keep an eye on temp at top of plant as it grows, waters a personal thing but just make sure its ph is ok, ive seen people use straight tap and then add de chlorine etc like they use for fish tanks, believe me youll soon know when theres a problem, id personaly change the soil, to a more "known" one just for the fact its your first go, plent of time to play with others once youve a couple of grows under your belt, the main thing is to get to know your plant and that will tell you when its needs change, good luck

YES, it's a tent!
I saw a video once, it said that if i have only 1 exhaust it should be the outake, and i can leave the intake with just a hole, let the pressure work for it

Yep, this is known as passive intake and will definitely work for your set up. As cozz said keep an eye on the temp at plant level especially with a little baby seed.

Doing your light cycle manually won't hurt unless you screw up, but I would get a timer sooner rather then later ( $15) amazon. Flowering time is typically 8-10 weeks for most strain from the time you flip to 12-12. And it's completely up to you how long you veg for. Since your growing one plant I'd recommend vegging for longer in order to get bigger yield. Hope this helps. Btw where are you from?

1 more question, i heard about '12/12 from seed', it says that it would grow bigger bud, is that right, should i go for that?

Temps are a bit too hot. Try to get it to 82, preferably lower.

Get a pH tester.

It will be if you forget, particularly in flower. Get a $15 timer.

- when would the flowering time be?

In flowering, most strains stretch 2-3 times in the first 21-24 days of flower, so take that into account, as well as how much height is used by the light and pots.

- how long would it take to harvest?

A good average is 9 weeks for many strains, but you want to look around for that particular strain.

It does not grow bigger bud. The only benefits are quicker time to harvest, you don't need a large veg area (I have a very small mom/clone area) and plants grow much smaller so you can fit more into your flower room. Buds are the same size in my experience, but obviously since the plants can be about 1/3 the size (or less) than if you do a one month veg, there is a lot less yield.

However, in my flower-from-seed/clone, I can fit 9 times the number of plants in my flower tent (strain dependent).

So if it's The same size of bud, and smaller plant size, so what's the cons about 12/12..
cause i'm also using a small grow space..
so is it better if i do 12/12?

cause now it's been 1 week + days, and still using 18/6 since seed
should i change soon?
