new jobless claims up to over 660K last week

lol.obongo better hurry the hell up with the stimulas.before obongo gets into office were were starting to lose about 600K jobs a month.obongo has it to almost 700K jobs being lost every week.
i cant wait till he spends 300 to 500K dollars of tax payer money per job to save or create those 3 mill jobs he is talking about.lol

Yeah, it's pretty comical watching the Democrats running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to fix problems that they caused in the first place, and really have no idea how to fix.

It's just rather unfortunate that it also means that they get to pass their idiotic legislature based on their even more idiotic beliefs on how the economy works (as opposed to how it really works.)

They just raised the benefit amount, too. I'm don't know how much, but I'm sure the coke man and the vending company that owns the poker machines my little brother stuffs his money into are rejoicing.

It's only tragic if they were decent jobs. So many of the low paying jobs (the only ones I've ever been qualified for) are so lousy and interchangeable, that an 18 month paid vacation is probably welcomed by some. Anytime they've talked layoffs at places I've worked, I'd volunteer to go. No sense living in fear of it. That's one thing I learned from my father, a steelworker, until Reagan fixed that.

i actualy think you are pretty bright and have a very high potential to do as you would.and a high potential to earn a high income.
hard work is not for sissys though.i have a friend who is a working machine.no one can out work him.his two downfalls;he only wants to work three days a week.and he wants to get done fast when he is at work so he can go home so he misses alot of crap on a job he should have caught .sloppy work.he put a hole in a roof that cost me a little money.
i piece rubber roof ruined the floor in the bussiness below.oh well that is the cost of doing bussiness i made sure the customer was happy and everything was right.

There are always going to be job losses. Instead of acting like a little bitch and whining about it (which does NOTHING) or trying to legislate stagnation by forcing these companies not to fire people (which is worse than NOTHING, as Europe is finding out as they slip further and further behind both China and the United States in GDP) people should be electing to find the next industry that can be created.

Or finding their own niches in the economy to get into.
