Has anyone experimented with the new blu/red narrow spectrum led grow lights/panels ? How are they, compared to hps ? Whats suitable light/plant ratio (if u will) any feedback ?
seriously, so far I have only seen that LEDs take long and yield like a 1/3 less. I don't know why you want to do that just to save on electricity? wouldn't do it yet, they cost to much for those results.
yeah...haven't you even seen the side by side grow with the MH and that new LED prototype it cost like 600 dollars and it took like 4 weeks longer and was only 25% as much as the metal halide yeilded...HPS yeilds even more than the metal halide
here i even found the link for you guys ....its really educational ....i made a mistake by sayin he used only a MH after veg he put the hps in. still is proof that HID lights are the way to go
Yeah, the High Output T5s are a lot better then the old ones. I have a couple tubes for veg. I've never used them for flower though so I couldn't say, but think woudl do good they have deep penetration. A little pricey too.
