New led setup OPIONIONS WANTED!! Cxa3070 cob leds

So I'm looking to have a small build led grow light . I have a. 8sq ft closet for my system. I've been looking into the led side of growing and I think it's a great idea . I've read a lot about the new led cobs and what a high out out they have it seems they've had a lot of success . anyways I'm going with the cxa3070 model I'll be working with the z4 bin with a lumen output of around 10,000 they have these anywhere from 6500k-2700k . to use these lights you need a driver I'm looking at the LPC-60-1400 mean well driver
Specifications:
Input Voltage 90~264vac Universal Input
Constant Current 1400 mA
LED Total Fwd Voltage Min 9.00 vdc
LED Total Fwd Voltage Max 42.00 vdc
Output Power 58 Watts.
I think these should be plenty to push my led s to full potential .
So I'm going with 6 cobs 3 5000k and 3 2700k with 6 meanwell drivers 1 for each light I'm going with a peice of sheet metal for the frame I'm gonna cut it to fit wall to wall but still raiseable . I am not going with a heat sink for this build but I plan on placing my drivers outside of the grow room under a fan . I'm very confident in this build I made my own choices after reading a lot about it for months I'm hoping to have a great grow . my questions are do you think I have enough light for the area ? Should I cut on some if not all of the 2700k lights during vegging ? And the the same with flowering should I cut on my 5000I lights with my 2700k lights? Is mixing the spectrum of light good ? Mainly looking for options from well exsperieced growers happy growing ! Thanks .:joint:bongsmilie:clap::blsmoke::cool:

50watts and 7000 lumens per sqft. is considered to be optimal, more than welcome to go over. If you have an 8sqft grow space then you need about 400watts and 56,000lms per sqft. The CXA3070 Z4 @1.4mA outputs roughly 52w and 6746lm totaling 312w and 40,476lm per sqft. Will it get the job done? Yes but the bin on those chips is low and they are not as efficient as a higher bin. You get about 128lm/w. With a higher bin chip you can run it lower and increase its efficiency for a few more bucks. I would also strongly recommend putting those COBs on a heatsink or cpu cooler like the Artic 11 plus. The COBs are far more efficient when ran at cooler temps and won't fry the chip

I'd go 4 3000K and 2 5000K, personally. I'd also get 2 of the big drivers to run each string of 3 on, but single chip drivers aren't a big deal for small rooms. You shouldn't have to worry about heat for that few. Are you actually using these as side lighting? Honestly, you could completely saturate an 8sq/ft area pretty easily with COB and scrap whatever else you were using all together. Ignore lumens and pay attention to PAR Watts. You can hit the PPFD of HPS without the hotspot with all COB. You'd probably only need to add 2 more chips to do it, a 3070 (I have those in my build too) should do just fine over a 1x1. Cut 2 of the 2700K during veg, imo, and run all of the 5000K during flower. 5000K still has enough red in it to do a decent job on it's own, with the 2700K, they'll be fine.

My CXA3070 AD are 1.05mA and they're running at about 34W a piece. Are you sure 1.4mA is actually 52W?

Right, huh, I guess so... I wouldn't run 1.4mA on low BIN chips, myself, but it's not my room. But I stand firm in that you cannot use lumens for a valid unit of measurement when talking plants. Lumens are for humans. You need to extrapolate the PAR watts. Check out the DIY forums for all the calculations.
