oh man why ask questions if u want to tell me whats wrong with em google overwatered and under watered plants and compare the pictures to the picture i mentioned u posted, if ur plants are locked out from accessing nitrogen then why do they have tox the tips are curling the bottom of ur plants leaves are rusting cuz u spilled nutes on em when watering just trying to be a help
new advice: think outside the box yknow dont be closed minded

then get cory and trevor to think for you cuz ur better off
 
Update: I gave my plants a light feeding and cut back on the nitrogen the other day. Checked on them the next morning and this is what they looked like. They look so much better, glad I'm figuring things out. This soil caused so much problems. Only two plants are female, I had to chop down the rest. Not gonna be the greatest of yield but it's okay. Anyone have any recommendations where to get seeds? I'm definitely getting some feminized ones for next grow. Thank you!

I've had a lot less luck with online seed banks than freebies from local conventions, but your mileage may vary there. There's a thread about it on here somewhere with like 5 or 6 fairly reputable ones. I was lucky enough to circumvent having to buy seeds my first go around. I saved like 200 seeds from some fire that accidentally got pollenated at my buddies. Anything besides that has been extra clones given or sold to me. Just recently got a snow leopard and alpha dawg clone off of a buddy. I'm looking forward to that harvest although I'm sure it'll be a learning experience as I don't normally grow anything sativa dominant.

Oh right on, ya there's nothing around here so I'm stuck ordering some. I just don't want my next grow to be upsetting with male plants like this one. I'll just have to do my homework and make a decision!

It pulls ~350 true watts and I'm running it in the same tent as a 1000w hps over a plant that wasn't getting enough light. I've never personally had great luck with kush strains but I've also learned a lot since I've grown them. Most everything is going to just come from personal experience and a few long nights of reading and tearing your hair out to figure out what to do. You have to experience it to really know what needs to be done usually, I'd helped so many friends deal with powdery mildew before I started growing and I had to eagle 20 my basement after my second harvest. Not a fun experience.

Note that the outside leaves have reached the rim of the pot. That means your roots are reaching the inside of the pot. From now until you transplant you will see a lot of vegetative growth with an inch a day likely. Should help you decide when you want to transplant.

Well I’m at 6 weeks of flower with the original ladies, also have some other plants going 12-12 from seed ( just wanted to try it). Everything still going alright. Had a cal/mag deficiency with the older ladies, gave them some cal/mag plus the other day. So over all I’m happy, learned so much this grow and everything is a breeze now. I gotta say last time I was commenting I was curing up that exo kush and commenting like I really knew how she would develop. Omg I’m so pissed that she is feminised and I don’t know whether I can keep her on or not (I have heard some fem beans can be kept as mothers some can’t. Guess I’m about to find out)I ran 6 fem beans and despite what I had read previously about them being homogenised or something the Variation in the 6 was dramatic. All got treated the same all were visibly different I tell you what I might have learned is pot size takes an effect on how quickly a plant matures I trialed an 18 litre pot compared to all the rest being 12 litres and she bullied out her sisters for space but took longer to fully mature compared to the others being over cooked just slightly(a lot of orange hairs) Evan tho I harvested 3;days earlier than dna suggest which is unusual as most seed banks are notorious for claiming quicker flowering times than what they advertise all the others were loaded with orange hairs which didn’t look too nice tbh plus I got a good microscope but I fucked it off as I was trying 8 or so different strains with many phenotypes of regular seeds (too many samples to put under microscope it was mayhem just went by the orange hairs this time)so really 30 odd different phenotypes an absolute nightmare for a beginner. All the exo kush came out great, funny thing is I also ran dna og kush and haveing grown up growing exodus cheese and to see both plants in one is amazing the explanation on dna website about being the best of both is no bullshit it’s definitely got that legendary exo cut in it along with a good pheno of og. Also the cure is so important with certain strains! I was so worried about her 2weeks after chop but after cure for 6 weeks she has blown everyone away. Also found a critical cream cookies phenotype regular that is very special, very purple looking! The type of purple I seen on weed before that made me wonder if it’s dye of food colouring or something, well I ain’t used none of that and my buds are white with thc and look like the been dipped in purple juice they look delicious

Are healthy roots white because I keep seeing brownish roots when I transplant? I know plants seem a different colour under hps lighting compared to normal maybe that could be what I’m seeing?
 
Just popped a batch myself hoping to get a male or two myself to breed seeds arnt always that easy to find lol

As far as feminized seeds I've heard their phenos can be sporadic do to the stress involved with breeding them feminized.by no means an expert but even if that's a touch true why not just naturally breed and if you have to chop down some males who cares got a bunch of seedlings ready to go
