New outdoor Grow

Ok so I am going to try something. An outdoor grow with just one plant. The strain is Jack33 from CH9 seeds it was a freebie so I really don't care if it's a success. I started the seed in cocoa pot with some roots organic. Kept under 2 t5ho 6000k lights for a bit then put the cocoa pot outside in the full sun it's been 2 weeks now and the little lady is growing very slow. Yesterday I put her in the ground in my garden where I have all my other vegetables growing. I dug a whole about 3.5 ft. and about 3ft wide. Filled it with a full bag of roots organic checked on her this morning and she seems happy. I'm excited to see how it goes.

If you are in AZ

Not such a good Idea at this time of year for outdoor grows.. Unless you are flowering!

Your plant will go into flower right away!

April showers bring me flowers!
Good way to remember when to begin process! (Scout Site, Prepare area, So on..)

Late April to early March plant seeds...
Harvest around October-November!!! Depending on strain!

Take her inside and veg til April. We only have 10.5-11 hours of daylight right now.

I have her in the ground already. I just want to see what happens I really don't care what happens to the seed it's just a learning thing for me. I already cracked another seed 5 days ago and i'm veg it right now and I'll put her outside in the middle of march.

how cold does it get at night in your area. that could be stunting your growth. how big was it when you planted it outside? from seed? how old is it?

If you have a security light or something that you can turn on during the night this may help keep the plant in vegg!!

43 is pretty cold anything below 65 and the metabolism of the plant slows down and growth slows down. That's why your plant is so small. As long as it does not freeze (32) then the temp wont kill it but growth will be very slow. You can try and cover it over night to try and insulate it. I would bring it back inside and veg it for another month and then put it outside again.

Your're a little to early, it will just go into bud. You can grow indoors, and bud outside all winter here in Bullhead. I've grown outdoors in AZ (120+ temps) and it works well. I would wait till April or May to put them out, otherwise they get to tall by October. Most of my plants go into bud in late July, long before the light drops to 12 hours, and are ready around September. Use two 100W Blackstar LED's indoors to veg...

IMHO I think you are over the "hump". By the time the plant gets mature enough to flower, the days will be long enough to support vegetative growth. I'm looking at some early flowers that should be ripe in late March/early April, on the Dec planting. Not a significant amount, but a preview. One plant has yellow stamen. Will reveg the promising. Bagseed Mex.
