Just wondering what you guys thing about my plant. I just watered it maybe an hour before taking the picture. 6x26watt CFL's, varying in colors.

What do you guys think? It's just starting flowering.

looks good, get the lights closer lookis a little stretched out imo. in my experience u can get the cfls very close as long as the air is moving around them they wont heat up much

I keep the lights 1 to 3" from the top of the plant. When it gets under 1" distance i move it to 3", repeat.

I have a box of five 400w HPS and two 400w MH bulbs but i have no ballasts for any of them. I'd love to run a 400w HPS on this girl for budding. Anyone wanna trade some bulbs for a ballast? lol.

branches are looking very week, get a bigger fan?

I appreciate the compliments, i was hoping for critisizm lol. Not my first CFL grow, but this cabinet is much bigger. I just added some computer fans last night for intake/exhaust and they seem to be doing the job moving the air but not enough to strengthen the branches. I may end up having to support the branches during flowering if I keep these fans only.

And yes, this pineapple is yummy. It's not pineapple punch, its something fairly local, an indoor strain. I enjoyed it this summer many times and found a couple seeds. I already flowered one male seperately and collected pollen for one of the branches. I want to get seeds.

As you can see, it grew into the bulbs once and burnt two tips a little, and there is a couple of waterleafs on the bottom yellowing. Some of the tips even on the top curl downwards, but I have not used miracle grow in a few weeks and it seems to be slowing down growth, I may add some more into its watering schedule.

Should be a good smoke. My next grow hopefully will include one or more 400w HPS bulbs as well as CFL's. CFL's are awesome especially for clones, seeds, and vegetation, although I have grew some good bud and smoked it all the way through with CFL's. Good stuff!

I pollinated the lower left branch/top in the picture:

Hopefully all is well and i didnt get much on the other while doing this. i used a Q-tip and rolled it around in a bag full of pollen from a male of the same strain.

You need some light under the plant to help with the light drop off from the above hanging lights. Its best to have cfl lights placed all around the plants, not just above them unless your doing micro grows with short plants.

hay man looks good a ruel of thum i use is.they will grow with little or no additives.but they will grow bigger fuller denser,be healthyer and you will get more weight with the more food and light you you give them.the more bud is what its all about.somthing els with hps and hd lights, there great and you cant beet the lumes but they throw off alot more heat ...over due you ventalation system first, get rid of the heat.grow big and prosper

I've been using water with molasses in it for this guy for almost a week now... 4 or 5 days. Seems to be looking decent.

looks good. Not great but very good. Its just my opnion but you could grab some 4 ft 2 bulb t12 to help you in flowering and supplimental lights in vegging. there 8 bucks at lowes or homedepot... you can mount them vertically for great lighting on all parts of the plant.. check out my journal the last photo is my setup complete

Your plant looked very nice for a CFL grow. How many lights did you use besides those two 4ft t12's? Just 3? what wattage? I was thinking at least 8 cfl's, i wanted to put in at least four of the 42watt CFL's, maybe 6.
