new, rarely dented and curled tips

website is awsome. yet scoured the internet for a while now to no alas. alright here goes. about month and half old, just started 12/12 hps(from 18/6mh) in FFOF. temps r good (high 84 low 74) ive gone through all kinda def/imbalances. all in the past (from a ph of almost 8 to hard water ((likely over 550 ppm outta tap))) hard water was believed to be the bigest hurdel to get over. it is what i thought had started the "burnt" spots, not rust colored but almost light brown. just now started with appears to be a mag def. mainly just wondering why the tips are still curling and why some of the new growth is curling under (legnth ways). comunity has been awsome to anwser problem althought near or far cant find a problem quite like this.

went thought what i thought was a nitro tox but didnt feed for almost 2 weeks to no avail. also had thought that it was my 250w MH (at the time) burning the plant from nearly 11 in away. moved light farther to no avail. flushed ( ~4 gal soil) with almost 3 gal of water (to think to get rid of the excess hard water deposits in soil). feeding of 6 or 7 days of (week ago) RO Grow. brita water in between. ph of water at time of water/feeding is about 6.6-6.8 (an amazing 5.8 after the brita filter and almost 8.0 before)
as far as the "dents" go. only about 2-4 thoughout the whole ~13in plant

i would doubt its overwatering or underwatering although thoes are possible. (under before over). first crop and just entered 12/12 3 days ago for supposed height restrictions (not sure the strain so not sure cropping height)

sry for fuzzy pics. goodtimez all thz for response

Looks Underwatered to me. Make sure when you water that you soak the whole pot, and let it dry until the top is dry before you soak again.

Underwatered, When you water it (count to 5-7 in your head then stop making circle in the POT)

i water from 3-4 days apart. twice a week maybe, but not more (afraid of overwatering). i wait till the moisture meter reads 3 (on 10 point scale), prongs for that are prob 6in in the soil.

def not underwatering. seems have have gotten a little worse since last post. had been using bat guano for my N, thinking it was an N tox i havent feed them in the last week. this morning problem has started to occur to some of the newer growth. makes me think its root related. any input would be awsome. uncle ben where are you? (i know what ude say anyway) goodtimez

no shit? ive had a few ppl say that a britta filter would be ok to use to water with. sadly for me i dont have a PPM meter to find out. fuk, cant afford to get water that much from the store. so then flushing with distilled water is prettymuch the only way to correct the prob.......... blah pickky little weed

Yeah I have a britta and a tds meter I checked the water straight outta the tap and after it was filtered. It actually had a higher ppm after it was filtered. You can get r/o water at most grocery stores for about 25 cents a gallon (if you are in the U.S.). They have these machines where you bring your own jugs and fill them up... they are great...real cheap and the ppm is very low.

Save your $$ and get an r/o filter. The initial investment is a little pricey (like $150-$200). If you use r/o or distilled water you might want to get some cal-mag. Best of luck my friend.

old leaves havent recovered. looks a bit different after 2 weeks of flower, lol. new leaves dont appear to have quite yet. lets just hope it was my 430+ppm tap water.

My tapwater is 500-600 ppm. Yes that could've caused your problems for sure.
