Check out the new room. It has been quite a while, 2 months, we've been getting together to work on this for it to get to this point. Thanks for all the help RIU.org

  1. Is my boy telling all you fools thanks for giving me the knowledge
  2. Is from the outside looking in through the door way. We installed this wall as you can see from the unfinished doorway
  3. Strait back through the door way on the back wall is an 18" shelf that extends the width of the room. flouros and CFL are mounted in this area that will be sectioned off for cloning and veg.
  4. My DIY filter is mounted
  5. To my exhaust fan - 435cfm - all ducting is 6". Intake in the back ground. This is ran from the laundry room ceiling through insulated duct.
  6. This is the bottom of the intake down tube.a

Shitty thing is We are having temp problems. 91 deg F. The light isn't really the prob. The fan's capacity is too high so I need to wire a variable speed switch and get a portable unit. Looking at a 12000btu. The light is an issue - the wiring is crossed on the ballast or something because the light housing/case is carrying a charge.

Nice! I see someone has a basement.......must be nice! I had the same problem with my room, the fan was sucking too much air out of the room. I put it on a timer and it stays below 83 on the hot days. I just run it for 10 mins every hour. But if your fan is acting as an exhaust for the room and the exhaust for the light, you might have to play around with it.

Don't sweat it bro, it just takes time to dial everything in. Looking good!

ouch, how old is the light? I know you've had countless arguments with people of the light, but I'd just get a new one. Help you sleep better at night. The newer ballasts are also alittle cooler too, which may help your heat issue alittle.

Storage room/The New Office.LOL.
A wire had been nicked and was touching the hood assembly. I just ordered new electrical internals for the light. New light in effect Thursday.

So far we are under $1500 for this room, but it's to the point it doesn't matter anymore. I'm itching to ROLL!

I know all about the attic work though. I had to limit the amount of time I spent up there because of the heat. Also to run the duct there is a small gable way that connects the house to carport and storage....what a pain in the ass dragging myself on my belly through that area to run the duct work. Thank God that is over.

Not bad, not bad at all. I shutter everytime I think about what I spent on mine. It will all be worth it in the end!

Ummmm, yeah, attics suck! Can't wait too see it all come together, looking good so far.

Trying to figure out my schedule and how I should set up my progressive perpetual grow.

My preliminary thoughts are :
20 clones, 4 strains, 1 harvest every 2 weeks - 1ea per strain, progressive in veg time by those 2 weeks, cut new clones from 4 mothers every ten weeks. Stoked!

I see this schedule varying in the "cut clones every 10 weeks" but that is the goal.

So I made the aerocloner. Not like most as I did not have any pucks, nor did I feel like ordering any. I did have some scrap 1/4" neoprene sheets laying around so I figured I would try something a little different. The only issue with this design is the possibility of root damage on removal from the neoprene. We will see on ops check number 1. Soon!

I still need to section off the veg and clone area before operation can begin.

Looks good dude! Damn your handy. I take you that you like to have little projects going on all the time. And if your like me............half of them don't get done? Well, they get done eventually.

So are you going hydro with the new grow?

LOL, I told you we were just alike.. Funny how that works. :blsmoke:

So I put down some new bamboo floors but never the shoe molding. My wife is all over me, hounding like a dog. The crown molding too.

The grow will be organic soil but I will be cloning with this contraption aeroponically. the sprayers will mist 30sec on and 3 min off. for 2 weeks before they hit the soil medium. Hopefully it works.

There are some really nice Threads in the DIY forum that explain the aerocloner very well. Simple, cheap and interesting.

Updates coming soon. Had some minor delays on construction but back up and running today.

LMAO, I just installed laminate floors this weekend, and no, they are not done. Just have some door thresholds to finish up. And I'm not doing it this weekend either. The wife is all up my ass as well to get it done. I'm doing nothing and getting high all weekend

If the cloner has issues, try rapid rooters out. I swear by them. Just add water and your done.

I think I'm going to cut down my first crop this weekend, so I think I'm going to try and build one of those bud dryers I've seen on this site. My room is short on space and I really don't want it stinking up the house.

........I did get my shoe molding on though!

HAHA! No shit!!! Same Same. I really like the laminate flooring. I used the Shaw Natural Selections. WE even follow the same structure on our forum names with a word and three numbers. and then the numbers are so close too! Go fuck'n figure.

TOO Damn Funny bro! Too bad we're not neighbors. Then maybe we would get something to 100%....besides the cash crop that is. LOL.

I was going to use the rapid rooters and do the normal set up with heat pad and dome but things got held up with the room and I had to do something that revolved around cultivating cannabis so I built the aerocloner.

I'm looking forward to the pics. Cheers!

I don't think we'd get anything done if we were neighbors. So when do you think you'll have some girls in there?

There's one in there now, she's the official first grow. 210w CFL. It's a bagseed Sativa/HAze strain and has been flowering since May17. My issue was figuring the best way to utilize the small veg and clone area. I ended up using some industrial velcrow, duct tape, left over insulation, and some white and grey tarps for the veg room. Now all we have to do is buy the A/C and vavoom. 2 weeks is my projection. I took 4 cuts today from one of my outdoor girls, one of these clones will become a mother.

I can't wait to start cooking with the herb!
