the room is 18' x 10' x 91/2'. I have 6 8" magnum xxxl hoods. If i connect one 8" inline canfan for exhaust and connect one 8" inline canfan for intake will it work?

3 vents coming out of the intake into 3 hoods, which inturn are attached to another 3 hoods by 8" vents. 3 vents that are coming out of the hoods are attached to the exhaust fan.

I have almost this EXACT setup !! I went with a single 8" 760 CFM fan, and now wish I had gone bigger.
I just added a Co2 Gen and I'm getting temps about 87 deg F with a 12,000BTU A/C unit. I've looked
into 10" fans, but there really isnt one with a much higher CFM than available 8" models.

It looks like I'm going to either 1) Add another 8" fan (one pushing/1 pulling) or go to a single 12".

To do it RIGHT.... Do 12" fan AND ducting on the EXHAUST side ....8 " before it.

make a 4x8 frame with 2x4's (2-8foot 2x4 with 4 45" cross members - on edge)
use cut 2x4 for the legs and put casters on the bottom of them. (found at home depot)

Total cost $65

PS - sounds like your air cooling should be fine - If I can get within 5 degrees of target temp
with the same setup and only ONE 8" fan....you should be great !
