Ok, so I have two 600 watt hps cooltube lights and am looking into getting a 400 watt MH. I want to hang all of those in line together, how much space do i need to get the maximum light output from them? How many 5 gallon plants could i fit under them? What cfm, and how many inline fans would i need to cool off the lights? Any input would be great?

The cool tubes allow you to get the plants closer to the light as well as vents heat out of the room. It depends on the power of your fan and how many bends you have in the air exhaust. I would say you could fit 5 around each light really close. Depends on the heat. The closer you get them to the light the better the end result.

Cooltubes are good for tents like 4x2, they dont have a good coverage. I used one for a long time though so its not to say you can't! I'm going to be running 5 gallon pots on my next round and only plan to do 3-4 per light but they'll have a pretty significant veg time. Footprint would be about 11ft long by 4ft wide for your lights give or take an opinion. Cooling is a whole nother ballgame and I cant estimate that for you, too many variables. I'd want an AC unit for starters though.
