New seedlings

Hey on that trellis do you just put one up and let it grow into it? Or do you weave it Will thc_1603659413326.jpg³hc_1603659413326.jpghat method work with soil and if so how do you deal with the mess on the floor I currently remove each plant for watering
 
I'm putting it in right at canopy level when the plants hit about 20" and let it grow into it without weaving anything for a week or 2. then I will pull it up.. bend the branches out.. do my selective defoliation and drop the net back down spreading the tops out. The plants will be trained into the squares to fill out the space.
