I top One time at around 21 days old, lst to open up interior of plant. Just me thought read some are Scrog going autos.

For strains, any can be topped and lst but taller, longer growing strains would prob be better for Scrog. Ther is a guy on YouTube and AFN that pushes his autos hard, Autobeast. Check his stuff out!

Sad FUCKlNG day. Lost another seedling not sure what was wrong. Only water my seedlings once a day around the stem and or if the top soil goes dry . Down to 1 good seedling fml.
I just watered it just now, but here come all the , Its over watered" ppl. Soil was dry this morning...
Bout to germinate my last 2 seeds, Maui Wowie Fems. If these dont work fml

Yeah man im heart broken lol. We scraped what little cash we had to get 3 autos and they gave 2 extra's Maui Wowie fems. This shits gotta work !! Starting to germinate x2 Maui wowies right now. Gonna update tomorrow with my new set up.... I might even delete this thread and start over. The next setup will be : x1 auto fem big bud xxl

Preparing all new dirt, 50/50 perlite. Picking out any big pieces of wood or anything. This one is gonna work!! My other dirt has orange mites crawling around and i cant help but think they killed my seedling. My other one is prolly doomed too watch!!

So sad! Hopefully the Maui Wowie lives! Im from Maui, and loved that strain. It's on my list to get next.

They are getting dropped in water right now, and first thing in the morning ima put them in soil tomorrow, maybe 9-10am. Fingers crossed

Refurbished my fish tank as a veg station for my x2 Maui wowies. Had a 100% success rate vegging like this . Got brand new soil and perlite, no bugs!! I spread all the dirt out thoroughly and flat and went through it all 3x. Nothing can jack this up nowwww!! Gonna start a new thread tomorrow and get fresh vibes and a cleaner grow log. This was a mess. New thread on Indoor growing tomorrow titled. Crazy's 2x2x6 adventure. Thanks homies

Sorry to hear that man, after I plat my seeds and seedling comes up I water to the edges of pot or make a furrow about half way between edge of pot and stem so the roots have to stretch and look for water... if you water close to stem the roots will stay there and not branch out so much causing small root system... that’s just what I do!

Oh absolutely. Definetely something to consider for the future. I reflected hard on that and duh! , it makes perfect sense. My soil was more saturated when i began last summer. It was foolish to not repeat the same steps this time. I only saturated where the seed was going and it prolly needed more. Next time i will water like you said, seems like sound logic to me

don't water once a day, sounds like dampening off. they won't need that much water, for seedlings I use a shot glass in a circle and maybe every 3 days. as long as it's not dry in the root system, autos are tuff and the genetics are unreliable, nothing against your but I hope you find better success with the fems, starting in a smaller container is more beneficial to the roots anyway , looks good so far

surface of soil gets way drier faster then the bottom , I don't water unless I can lift the pot and it feels light, im a fan of totally soaking the medium then leaving it alone until its dry, usually it takes 1 week in the beginning and as they grow the length of time decreases as the root system expands and they drink more.

Yeah if i mess up these fems ima smack myself . ima start off small on them before transfer the to 3gal fabric pots. I still have 1 auto left after the 2 commited seppuku. I appreciate your insight man, and everyones honestly. Im like a sponge right now in weed'ology class soaking it all in lol. Ty

seedlings require the most care but at the same time you can definitely over parent. I prefer phtooperiods because you have more time before flower to adjust your grow. autos are better suited for a system that is totally tuned in.Yeah if i mess up these fems ima smack myself . ima start off small on them before transfer the to 3gal fabric pots. I also +1 the spray bottle idea of seedlings it won't overly saturate the surface like watering from a jug does, you can presoak a pot and let it dry a tad before transplant, then using only the spray bottle for a week as the rest of the container drys.
