about 2-3 inches away i used my hand on top and its not hot at all the fan helps out alot :D
You're only using 13 or 23w CFL's right now, right?
I usually try to keep mine close close once they get about 5" tall.
So close to the point I think I SHOULD back them off a bit so I don't keep getting leaf tips growing into the bulb and burning every few hours.

Baka, your sig.... classy.
So, who's ass is that :??: lol.. ;)

Dude..seriously? C'mon man the plant is nute burned, those aren't the fucking cotlydons they are the very important first leaves! Plant has no chance to live unless you commit to learning how to grow
You know, its hard enough on a grower just starting out, much less to have to hear/ put up with asshole's BS. IMO the OP is doing a great job! And deserves a + rep for his effort. We all gotta start somewhere now don't we :??: Ok, back up a little and give the dude some room to grow his shit..

Go easy on me I am a newb, but I also noticed the discolouring on the bottoms leaves, I have got one plant like that, although it doesnt look as good as the OP's plant. I don't know what "cotlydons" are but I will find out right now, but I am wondering why you said this "they are the very important first leaves!"
Well put. That's right. The cotlydons is what the plants feed off of during early growth..

That plant looks awful for that size. If your using old soil I'd recommend buying another pot(if you don't have one), preparing a new ph balanced soil mix with perlite then uprooting that plant ever so carefully, washing all the dirt off with a ph balanced bucket of water (the same ph as your new soil mix), rinsing the roots while being careful not to tear any, and then transplanting into your new healthy soil. If your growing in old soil no matter what was in it or what you put in it, that's just silly
Dude. Really :??: Tell me, for as old as it is, the plants doing A+ ok.. Hell, I've had some that's a month old or more in the past that wasn't that big!! The plant will do fine as long as the OP doesn't overfeed.

yea no shit those are the leaves. im talking about the cotyldons themselves which u cant see in the picture i think i know what im talking about as today the COTYLDONS are dried off.
Buddy, your plants looking fine.. Don't listen to all the bullshit. I'm glad I could help you when I did. Also glad we got her outta that peat moss you had her in.. + rep 2 you bro.. A+ for the effort.. ;)

it is Mg soil but its been flushed before use and tplant. crystal clear run off no yellow water to indicate nutes :D
I don't see anything wrong with MG soil honestly. You just gotta remember to not feed for awhile ( when plant starts doing what yours is doing) feed that bitch! :) haha NOT 2 MUCH though.. Start off with a ppm reading of around 300. Or if you don't have a ppm reader, just add less then recommended dose. And when I was using MG soil, I didn't flush. I planted my ladies right smack in that shit and watered with ph'd h2o... She did just fine. It also helps allot to add some sort of "root builder" to the plain water. Don't 4 get to adjust the ph " after" any kind of nutrients is added!!

I thought stoners were supposed to be mellow and helpful, geez how disappointing.

OP did you use nutes or not? I have the same discoloration on the same leaves and I didn't use nutes, your plant looks awesome so I don't understand the problem with the leaves.
Shit, you guys are really good at this, wow.
You would think, wouldn't ya.. Some people I tell ya...

the peat moss could've had a problem in the solo cup too for the seedling thats why i tplanted into the soil im currently using
And imo it did. Bc she "at 1st" didn't look good. She was sickly. But after you got her outta that peat moss she started looking healthy, but hungry!!

OK, see how you've got a couple leafs starting to turn?
You can start feeding now.........
You're about 25 days or so now, right?
Grhhhhh... I can hear her hollering from here.. haha :)

what leaves do you see turning??? and i watered today with no nutes... so next watering ill have to feed.. unless i should give her a shot of water and a few nutes...
those ones right cher on the bottom of the plant bud.. lol

Fem beans & clones.
I like playing with clones better, but for new genetics I gotta pop beans & I don't have the time to fuck around sexing.
Hey.. If you don't mind check out my babies and let me know what you think.. :??: Please, and thank you.. :)

hmm 24 plants (fighting for root space haha) sorry i got to keep rubbing it in :dunce: but im guessing 5 Ibs and possibly more than that
Hmm.. Which crop are you looking at :??:

and remember what I had said last night bro :??: Your I bet would be Calcium. One reason I think that is bc of the FF nute lineup not containing any in them..
I remember bro, but I'm giving that 'Maxi Cal' EVERY water, which has CA, and Mg, plus some Epsom almost every water, and it's just keeping it under control. (Hint, hint, to the OP.)
FYI, 1 tbsp/ gal of the Epsom is as much as I would use.

BTW, if the OP wanted to grab some MG All Purpose nutes to use while vegging, those worked well for me last year, but I think I also gave him the link for GH Veg N Bloom to request the free sample.
To me, the V/B didn't work as well, but it kept my shit green, and was free.

I hear that.. Me personally, I would put my name behind the General Organics any day of the week!! I'm telling ya, in my years of growing I've tested a TON of nutrients lineups. Those Ive yet to have a issue with. Been wanting to try out the ph free nutrients. Hell, that would at least save me $ from having to purchase the ph up and down + the tester liquid.
