New shoots ripping at emergence.

So this happens from time to time, In fact quite a bit with my grows. I get fresh growth shoots (leaves) that rip themselves as they are sprouting. It never causes any problems but I'm wondering how often this happens with other growers. the first pic is of relatively new growth and second is an older leaf which has already healed. Any ideas why and does this happen to others with any regularity?

I've had mine tear by themselves before. They still grow fine.
