New to Aero - Some questions for the experienced!

Hey guys and gals.

I've just began my first proper aero experiment, and it's going great. I just have a few questions to help perfect my next aero grow after I complete this 'test grow'.

But first, here's some pics!!! ... The first are at the end of Week 1 Veg, the second are at the end of Week 2 Veg ... I will be flowering after Week 3 Veg.
These are currently under a 400W MH and will be flowered under a 600W HPS.

So that's my basic setup... Pretty simple yea!

The questions I have are:

What is optimal pH? (Was thinking 5.3-6.5)

What is optimal rez temp (C)?

Would you strongly advise a rez change in a 3 Week Veg / 10 Week Flower setup?

And is there anything you'd like to add to help increase my knowledge and success with this aero system?

Cheers! - P.S. I'd prefer information from people who have actual experience with aero, but any info is welcome!

you like the aero ehh? you see that the ones in soil are half the size after 2 weeks? nice going, 5.3-5.8 ph is optimal but as long as you can manage it under 6.5 all nutrients will be available, best temps are from 65-68F, over 75F you will have nasty problems, i suggest you get hygrozyme , keeps the roots healthy or a similar product for root protection from pythium, a must! change the rez every 10 days no matter what....some say 2 weeks and others do it weekly, i have nice results and no issues at 10days, if you aim those sprayers upward, you can turn that tub into an aero cloner, your clones will root much faster aeroponically than any other method IMO...whats youe pray schedule? u left that out

Cheers for the info ... Haha yea aero is fun, have experimented with bubbler buckets etc. in the past, went well, but now must move into the 21st century of growing and do some aero growing lol.
I never change the rez or used root protection in bubbler bucket and it went sweet, (other than topping up rez), but I'll def look into that!!! - Especially on my next proper grow after these trials lol

Spray schedule is 1 hour on spray / 15 mins off - The timers I have only go as low as 15 min on/off periods, I tried and tried to find ones that went lower but can't find them in my little country haha. Advice on recommended spray schedule would be awesome though!!!

Also, those misters do get the bottom of the pots, so I can clone in that tub, but I have a seperate bubble cloner I usually use until I get another aero system set up for cloning.

P.S - I still like my soil :P ... But I think those pictures above show that aero is the way of the future hahaha

This was my bubbler bucket trials:

yes aero is the future, look in the hydro forum and you will see everyday new members getting new aero sets, you can have success without root protection, especially if you keep your water and system super clean and under 75F...but its like using a condom so put on your rain coat! from what i seen on here member like 15min on/15 off or something like 15/30 or 15/45, i too have 15min timers and i like light on time 15/30 and lights off 15/45, roots wont dry out if you keep the sprayer off for an hour, and only need a good 15minute misting atleast once an hour, ideally people who have one minute timers go 1min on 4min off

Sweet as man. I'll do some adjustments!

Did some LST today, just to spread some growth till I get clones and begin flowering this weekend haha.
I didn't take too much care with it, just got the job done! :)

The pics are kinda crap quality today guys, oops! - I can still smell those plants on me, can't wait to flower!
