New to cfl what do u think

I think 500W is plenty for what you've got growing there. One thing I would suggest is to move the lights closer to the plants. With CFLs, you want your light source as close as you can get it (2-3 inches, max).

What's the individual wattage of the bulbs? If you're using higher wattage CFLs, get some 26 or 42W bulbs for side lighting and use the big ones for top lighting. You basically want to surround your plant with bulbs to keep it from stretching the way it is.

I have 2 75w, 3 60w, 1 42w, and a bigger 200w bulb idk I'm really new to growing hoping I'm doing ok lol I just have mg soil and hardly any nutes.. Going shoppin today

yea just move lights as close as possible...use the hand test to see if they are too close....and get some dam nutes even some blood meal during veggin will help at lowes for like 10$

With CFLs it really isn't how many watts you have, it's how you use them.

Get the lights closer to the plants and make sure they get light from all sides, and you should have yourself a pretty successful first grow there =)

I just got a bunch of equivelents I got 2 150 w, 5 75w, and a 60 watt all are now with a few inches of all plants

Got even more lights now a couple inches from all plants with pots twice as big now any other suggestions?

In 3-4 gallon pots now tallest plant 2 ft after about 50 days is that alright? First grow ready to start flowering?
