You can't transplant netpots without damaging the roots. You don't have that many roots yet so you COULD put it into another netpot and poke the roots through but I'll tell you right now you won't get them all through and you'll damage some so I wouldn't advise it.

As for what to move it to, you can use virtually anything. Whatever works for your space. From what I've seen though coffee cans seem like they work pretty well.

I learned myself the hard way, I have done it but it was a royal pain and as a result I feel the root system never got as big as it should have and the overall plant yield and size suffered from me screwing with it.

Let me know if you need anymore help by no means am I some pro but I've atleast grown a few decent looking plants dwc.

I frequently transplant DWC girls be that they are 3 foot tall or little babies, all through a 3" hole that the netcups sit in, i just squeeze the root mass till it fits through the hole even if it requires brute strength, and if not, then i just yank it through and remove the ripped up root bits and pieces. (i cut my holes with a drill so they look rather like an inverse cog due to l;ack of a hole saw), they do just fine and show no negative signs of any kind, same as when i transplant a soil girl into DWC. Cannabis is a hardy fucker, if you've good genetics you shuld be able to wrestle it to the ground without any real inverse effect. As said, you can use anything that will hold water, drill a hole in the top for the pot and a hole in the side for your air line.

I would use the big tub for your mothers. Clone them in something that doesn't run the risk of ripping/damaging the roots when you transplant. Then Veg/Flw in individual buckets. If you are new to hydroponics and dwc, this is a great way to learn the entire process and get a good feel for things. By running individual buckets, you can experiment more with nutrient concentrations. Just remember to try and keep a constant among them all, so you can measure the results.

Mothers in Tub
Clones in cloner or seed starter
Veg/Flw in buckets

Another option, as opposed to individual buckets, would be to link them and have one reservoir. This is much more less work than having multiple reservoirs.

He already has them in one container.

Not sure if you have any other lighting in there, but you may want to invest in some more lights. 2 CFLS are not going to get you anywhere.

i added more lights 3 24 watt instead of 2 13w, changed things up a bit and started nutes also separated the plants now they both have there own container

i'm thinking of adding a hose connecting both reservoirs so they share the water/nutes and it wold make filling a little easier but how would i go about doing that any helpful impute would be appreciated
