New to grow tent and ventilation

I posted a couple of pics of my tent. Should I be putting my duct through the top, the side, etc? And how would you suggest I vent the seedling side that’s blocked from the rest of the grow tent? Thanks in advance!

I use a 4" inline fan, outside the tent connected to a carbon filter, on top of the tent itself(with a board under the fan and filter for support). Then I just use a piece of venting duct to go from one side of my partition to the seedling side.

Ideally filter in tent ducted out of which ever hole gives you the least bends.
Your seedling side may be ok with passive extraction but it depends on what light your using or how much heat it produces.

My clone or seedling tent just has a pc fan wedged in the duct sock but its only 60w of light so it maintains a nice even temp and the fan just stops humidity climbing.

Trial and error.

These are the specs I received with my grow light. It actually works extremely well as far as coverage and heat distribution. I was surprised. My seedlings That are currently growing are thriving with just that light. What’s your take on the light at first glance?

It’s not just that color though. I can adjust it to be all blue, all white, all red or a combo of all 3. Also can adjust the percentage of each spectrum it’s going to give off... R40%xB100%xW80% as an example

Any idea what power it uses? I don't see any useful info to be able to evaluate it.
Cant find it on google to look up relevant info.

I’m pretty sure it uses about 110W out of the possible 1000 watts. But I couldn’t find how many “mols” it gives out at each distance. Bought this before I really knew the important details that makes the lights quality. But, thankfully it does the job really well actually. Gonna get a new one though. Thinking this one.. what do you think?

I would be happy with the first light you linked for your seedling stage , but would get a quality LED for flower.
That means nothing blurple, you want something efficient preferably using Samsung 301b or h diodes.
Lots to choose from these days.

Your space isn't big so its not going to cost you much more to get quality.
Then instead of having to flower with 50+ w per square foot your flowering with 30w per square foot.

Stay away from blurple style lights. You want the LED’s that appear white in either 3000K or 3500K. Samsung LM301B/LM301H diodes or COB’s.

Check out HLG or Timber for US based products.

Or Kingbrite/Meijiu on Alibaba.

if your section is 3x3, the Mars hydro tsw2000 fits really nicely in there. thats what im using on my 3x3 side.

Yeah, I think I might go with this one. My tent is also about 3x3, so this should work. Not a bad price either
Do yourself a favor and get this instead.... https://www.amazon.com/Horticulture-Lighting-Group-High-Efficiency-Upgraded/dp/B07C59J8L2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=hlg+grow+lights+led&qid=1597678568&sprefix=hlg+gro&sr=8-4&th=1&psc=1
Put both lights in the tent. You'll be much happier.

The difference between HLG and Viparspectra is the difference between driving a $1000 junker car or a Ferrari.

Edit...or even better, if you can afford it get a larger HLG light.
