New to growing and Rollitup

Hey guys, i'm fairly new to this site, and i've been reading a bunch of your forums, finding interesting stories, and good tips, so i thought id post my pic and ask if there's anything i could be doing for this particular plant. first one

And also, is there anyway of controlling the height of a plant, definitely? i'm having trouble finding tips on keeping plants short and bushy.... from what i hav researched, it seems its mostly based on seed

1) Genetics - indica dom instead of sativa
2) Proximity of light - close as possible
3) Frequency of light - blue instead of red

also you can top the plant, search topping or look in the faqs section, looking good though!

when topping, will it regrow to the same height? and is it worthwhile to get the 2 crown buds, instead of the single one?

topping means bushier, but you need to start flowering to keep height low
most growers that top say you get the same amount of bud, just more small instead of one large
just getting ready to try my 1st topping grow(fimming actually, pretty much the same technique)
