Hey everyone!, Im new here. Just setup a temporary garden setup and was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions as to what needs to be done in order of priority. Pretty Much i got my foot stuck in the door! Started off with going downtown to the amsterdam cafe in vancouver and ended up goin next door and bought some seeds. I have a strain called FireWorks. Its a hydrid cross consisting of (Texada Timewarp X Awesome Fuck'in Kush). Too bad those seeds won't germinate for me, so surprise surprise a nice ounce of Green Crack had some seeds. So I decided to give it a go only to find that the little bastards all germinated and during my MOVE TO A NEW HOUSE having to setup a temp grow area. Pretty Much its a 2 x 3 x 4 area with a blanket on top. (sad to say, still building my cabinet) I have CFL lights setup 4 - 150w 2600 Lumens and 4 - 45w 1620 Lumens. Total output 16880 but then again i dunno how to measure the lumens besides the box they came in. Anyways Im on a budget but I AM WILLING TO SPEND MONEY because im in this for the long haul and wish to take this up as a hobby. What are some relatively cheap ways that i can UP! my garden and help these little guys succeed in life!

9 - sprouts
8 - CFLs about 16000+ lumens
Organic potting soil (something out here in BC, Canada)
2W x 3L x 4H
temp around 79 to 81 degrees
humidity 25 to 35 ( do i need to get it up more)

i am looking into Carbon Filter, 200w HPS, Better fans, Possibly 600w Gro CFL's? dunno tho i want alot of yield.

PS. plan on doing a scrOG with the help of a buddy who knows a little more.

SUGGEST away ppl Thx Again.

you got the concept down, your temps and humidity is perfect. you will need to be repotting those seedlings shortly, the roots will have a slow time growing into the light but will do so if need be. go for a 400-600watt hps if you can control the temps.

thx man, and i was planning on re-pottin as soon as i get some good strong characteristics of these plants (Some thing that weeds out the weak looking). what size would you recommend for the pot? 1 gallon pot? or could i do something a little smaller?. Idealy i was goin for a small grow of 4 - 6 plants on scrOG which would be in a cabinet. hence the pot size would be a problem if it were a tall 3 gallon or something.

you cant really get away with much less than 3 gallons unless you plan to flower pretty early, with good results anyway. if you up them into 1 gallons i'd flower them at 4-5 inches or less maybe..

How tall do plants have to be to actually flower them?
