New to growing could do with some advice

Hiya guys I’ve germinated my seeds they cracked and taproot are showing so I transferred them to plastic cups and have them in my grow room inder 18h light 6 hours dark and have been for just under 48hr just wondering when I should expect them to sprout up out of the soil thanx in advance

Could take a day could take a week I accidentally might have messed up one last night was under dirt for 4 days and transferred into bigger pot when I pulled it out roots were over 3 inch so just takes time but a different cracked seed popped up same day as I planted.

Give them 24 hrs of light I use small cfls for babys till they root. Goid luck and happy growing

Thankyou for your reply’s guys appreciate it so I’m just gonna leave them for a few days and mist every now and then and change the light from 18hr two 24hr till they sprout

They have no need for light till they sprout. I keep mine in a tupperware container covered with seran wrap on top of my cable box.
Just enough heat to speed along growth.

No need to provide light until the plant head is above ground.
