That’s pretty stretchy lol it’s from lack of light. I’d start by burying that stem deeper, a lot deeper then get more light on it

That is stretching because you need the grow light closer to the plant something like 24-30 inches for seedlings.

I would put it in another pot and put it deeper in the soil so that the top is only 6 inches above the surface of the soil.
You're assuming that they're using a grow light. Different grow lights also have different distances from plants. I use T5's to start seedlings and you keep those a few inches away.

Is that even cannabis? Whatever it is it's stretching due to lack of adequate light.
It sits on my window sill right now. Gets afternoon sunlight. This is what I am saying. I'm learning and need your advice and your help. Thx. ;-) Nancy

I have a grow light and will put it under. As someone here mentioned, will it help to plant the stem deep?

I use a 4 ft HO T5 fixture with 4 54 watt 6500k bulbs. It's an excellent light for starting seedlings.

But I'm not convinced that's even cannabis.
now you've got me wondering too. will try and find out, and get back to you all. Thx

If you have a grow light then definitely get it under it asap. It would also be a good idea to plant that deeper but you'll need to be very gentle when doing it so you don't damage the roots. It might be better to stake it up until it gets bigger. But you need to get it more light.

Thank you and it's all taken care of. Now just hope it survives.

Your light source needs to be really close during seedling phase. I use Marijuana for my Multiple Sclerosis neurological pain. I just started growing it but I grow alot of different plants.
You can actually grow a plant to harvest under one of these lights I posted a picture of. Cheap enough on Amazon. It's all my friends dad uses

Re-pot that leggy (stretchy) plant in a deeper pot almost up to your first set of leaves.
Get it back under the light with just a inch or two above. If your light source is hot, you will have to adjust it accordingly or it will burn your seedling.
Don't over water. It doesn't need a lot of water right now and it will not help.

Someone here said it didn't look like a cannabis plant, but here are two pictures. One is mine, one is off the computer. They look the same, and as you can see, there appears to be another leaf growing on mine. Mine is the first one.

So I planted my one little seed directly into soil. It is growing, but getting tall and thin. Where do I go from here. How do I continue to grow it properly and not have it so thin. I want it for medicine purposes but only have the one plant. Appreciate your advice.
Is the rubber Jonny off? Can you take a pic of the tip close up?

That was me and that first photo you posted definitely was not conclusive. Anyone that would say for sure that was a cannabis seedling from that photo hasn't seen many different plant seedlings. There are lots of seedlings that look the same until the leaves start to emerge. I've never seen a seedling that stretched out without having opened up to show the first set of leaves. It's also not unheard of for someone to post non-cannabis seedlings. And I didn't say it wasn't cannabis I said I wasn't convinced.

Good luck
