Hi hun! The warm/soft/daylight and others are different. The lumens are of different scales and should be observed when purchasing cfl's. Stick with the 2700k for flowering.

Remember that you want to mimic the sun and the changes in time of year. So since you are force flowering, the sun should be of orange type spectrum signifying the time of year for flowering! The 6500k cfl for veg mimic the blue spectrum of the sun.

What lights do you have?

...well Im sure I got the blue spectrum right (cool white)...its just the red one Im not to sure of...I know that HPS is for the flowering which I know Im suppose to use but Im kinda skittish on using it...why? cause of the fire hazzard...to much heat for this small room and I really dont wanna go through a fire again..so the question is is warm white the same as soft white...I ask this cause all I can find in this dinky little town is soft white which has a red to it..oh and btw hello netpirate how are you today? another question its says in my book that I can use both the cool white and warm white together for flowering but again the same question applys about the warm and soft whites, do you think its a good idea to use both?

The warm white should be the 2700k lumens. Do you have the box? It will tell you on the box. Look for the "Lumens" on the box! 2700k is what you want. I would stay clear of the soft white as those are few and far between the lumens you want. I would change the cool whit to daylight bulbs. And remember never use incandescent bulbs. CFL!!!

The fire hazard thing is scary but with a fan on the bulb you will be fine. I can show you how to make a really efficent grow light using a security HPS lamp from home depot!!! They don't get too hot at all ESPECIALLY if you have a fan on them!

But to recap, look for the lumen rating.

...thanks for the reply...here is what the box says 150watt with a light output of 2600 lumens which is a soft white bulb...200watt at 3000 lumens which is a cool white bulb...so you are saying that a soft white is the same as a warm white or no? and could I use both types for flowering?

...maybe its the time of year that I cant find the lighting I want...I've looked for the daylight bulbs but they seem to come in only the smaller bulbs...unfortunately I have wallyworld and Canadian tire to choose from but I'll look again tomorrow...I did look on sites for the hps and mh complete kits...question there is if I buy one of those can I just plug it into the wall or do I have to do some fandangled electrical splicing thingamgiegy...lol

Those lumens are good enough for flowering! But becareful with the heat.
The HPS will have to be modified but its easy girl! I'm a pro already! I'll help you!

Give them a home fast! Stick'em in some soil and see what happens. Use the daylight cfl's on them! If i'm not mistaken, I do believe you can put them into 12/12 after roots develop. Take pics!
