hello im relatively new to growing all together.but ive been in agriculture since i was 10 but never went hydro.did a lotta research and was wanting to make a gravity forced hydro system.any ideas or tips or even a kik in the right direction.i like the idea of the gravity how it works a lot like Flood and Drain(ebb n flow)system but without a pump.my biggest question is if i dont have a pump or digital monitor how many times a day should i flood and drain? im using rockwool and clay as the medium.has and one had good luck with this system? also whats the best way to figure out how much nutrients and other things the plant needs for the solution mix? ive had good luck with soil and cfls but i want to make a way easier way of makin a constant flow of lowryder strains due to short life and decent enough yeild(especially with a more regulated system and a dimmable digital ballast with 1000w hps and 4 4900lumen cfls and150w MH/hps for the younger ones.)Ive learned so much by researching,gettin books,testing and im just so new to hydro but its def a must for better rooting than ive had with reg soil growin.so anything anyone can tell me wud b very much appreciated. most important is knowing how often to flood and drain is it possible without a buncha meters? ill always b near the site so i got access all day,thanx again
