New to hydroponics

yeah you helped a lot. I'm probably going to use this set up instead of the fish tank idea. how often do you water, how much nutes, and what kind of nutes do you use?

I don't understand the hydro nutes. everything is a lot lower than soil nutes. For example I use 11-35-15 for soil, (Orchid Bloom Booster) but most hydro nutes are 2-6-4 or something.

Please explain this, I've been searching for a direct answer but have'nt found it.

I'm sorry for all the questions, but like I said, I'm really new to hydro!!! lol. but thank a lot!!

You will be happier in E/F than in a fish tank... good choice...

3 times a day... I use straight Hydroton... if you use something else, you will have to adjust...

How often you flood id 100% dependent of the media in the pots...

Enough to make the reservoir read 1400 ppm on the ppm meter..

The cheapest complete hydro nutrient available... currently it is this...

I use non-organic nutes and H2O2...

I have no idea... this is something that I have never been interested in.... I just a buy a complete hydro fertilizer and forget about it...
