It wasn't really a fraudulent charge. My CC company was just being cautious cause I was ordering from places I've never used. It all worked out. Just made my day hell.

I was thinking about TIG welding the 5.886" heatsinks together but im worried about warping. In my experience even if i clamp the piece to the table and let it cool before unclamping aluminum still warps. I might just bolt them.

Actually I would separate them a bit. I wasn't sure if your picture was to scale. Put them on a frame so the 4 outer emitters are in a 2 foot square.

I ordered 2 22" and a 16". My grow is actually like 32" x 34" or so. Yeah ill look at it again and consider separating them. Also Im trying to figure out my resistor for switch dimming. I know I need a 50k but what power rating? 1/4w? 1/2w? Ive tried doing the math and im coming up with like a 30 watter and i know thats not right. Just get a regular "thru hole" type? Im also looking at using a SPDT and adding a 25k so I have 50% and 75%. Not sure how usefull it would be but im already spending the money ....might as well go nuts. Ill take pics when I get started. Ive got some good ideas on covers/fan shrouds to hide all the electronics.

It's just a signal so 1/4 or 1/2 watt will be fine. Through hole resistors can be soldered to wire with a quick connect on the end. You can fold the wire over and zip strap it so there's never any tension on the resistor. Some shrink tubing to cover the exposed parts. A SPDT with on-off-on would allow you to use 2 resistors and an open position.

ahhh duh. I forgot that driver has dimming wires. I thought i had to dim the output voltage. My bad.

If you set up the corner chips on one driver and the middle four on the other you would be able to run the corners harder without scorching the middle.
