New to led

What's up so I'm new to this led stuff I currently run hps and t5s , but my brother gave me these two lights I believe their China or something one is Yaetek and the other KingPlus has anyone ever heard of these brands ? Are they alright to use just for the fun of it? Really just curious if they good or cheaply lights

Throw them in the trash. They are purple, have awful light spread, the efficacy is lower or equal to HPS. It's simply a nightmare to use these lights.

edit: Don't forget to salvage the fans, DC drivers and all the other crap stuffed inside those diode coffins

You could use them for veg lights. The old blurples seem to do that fairly well at least. They are not going to be better than your HPS though.

Gotcha was thinking about that just didn't want to toss them I mean they were given to me :confused:

I feel for the guys who buy some chitty Amazonian Photon Blurple Starship LED.......BEFORE they join RIU.

Only to learn here they bought a frisbee, not a flying saucer.

I've been on RIU for a while these were just handed to me and I'm not much of an led guy I mean. LED so I was tryna figure if they were worth running
