only in California can you ACTUALLY get it for insomnia alone ..
But TECHNICALLY if you tell a reasonable doctor that you use it for insomnia he might be inclined to check the chronic pain box, you do have pain don't you?
Insomnia & Anxiety is the main reason I use it but I did have a back injury that causes me pain, just explain to your doctor be honest and truthful..Most doctors if they see you don't have a substance abuse problem and you use it responsibly are glad to help you take care of yourself.
Hell some doctor could care less they just want your money , they will stuff it in their fanny pack and ask you why do you want medical marijuana? You could say 'my toe hurts' and they will check the pain box and hand it to you within 5 minutes end of conversation lol....some doctors want all kind of medical records and carefully examine you, every doc is different.
Just be carefull of the ones with the fanny packs in casual clothes with a stethoscope that have 5 minute appointments because some are not even legit and some are on the verge of getting their license revoked - try to find someone that actually got approved for their card from Dr. Fannypack-5-minutes before you use a doctor like that - best bet try the well known doctors and be honest and explain your situation.
I always use THCF clinic just because they are pros and I know they wont be getting their license revoked but for them you need medical records and they are on high end of the price scale. They are also nationwide so they have been at it for awhile.
