hey guys i been reading alot about oganic ways lately bc i want to keep my plants as chemical free as possible..i been reading alot on neem seed cake & karanja seed cake..does this stuff when mixed into the soil kill the bennys in the soil? im a guerilla grower and i ordered plant success soluble and i will be useing it for 1st time next year when spring gets here..also with soil drenching pure neem oil does it kill the bennies in my soil? and if it does can i wait like a week and then put more plant success in the soil and get my beenie numbers back up? this is all new to me and im trying to wrap my head around it..i will be useing dyno gro protekt, karanja& neem oil as foliar spray once ever 2 weeks but i also wanted to do soil drenchs once a month so i can get the systemic properities from the oils..what is the reccommened dosage for 1 gallon of water for the soil drenches..ive read that karanja and neem together make it even stronger then useing either one alone so im gonna get both the neem seed meal and karanja seed meal..i already have neem oil 100% cold pressed and one 8oz of karanja oil for foliar sprays..please advise as i dont want to fkk my plants up next spring

Ahh! I remember the gorilla days. Back in the day I planted some near a swamp one time and never had to do anything all summer. Never pick a swamp with dead shit around make sure everything is nice and green by the end of summer. I took a burlap bag with fairly large holes and filled it with cow manure and good soil mix, dug some holes and dropped them in. That year something ate them off to the ground, so I put out another one and checked on it a few months later. Turns out all of them grew back and were giant bushes. I never liked the feeling I got doing that shit. I was always in a rush and paranoid. I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore.

i been a guerilla grower for 10 years but i bought a bunch of organic stuff now and i need ot know the soil drench application rates for neemoil, karanja oil and protekt in 1 gallon of water...and also need to know the folair spray ratios for neem oil, karanja oil and proteck..i sent dyno gro a email a week ago and got nothing back from them so i figured u organic gurus would now the proper ratio..i used greencure last year and it fried my pistals but i used it to late in flower..i had to or i would have lost my whole crops to fkn bud rot..the greencure did stop it in its track but it also gave my bud a funny smell..i lost 90% of crop on 2 plants and a total lose on my blue dream...
i dont have swamps around here though i wish i did..i live in the applachian mountians and it stays humid as fkk like 100% from june to around sept 10 so im gonna be on prevention of bugs and mold this year..once u get infected there is no way to stop it..u can control it some what but it will stilll spread..the greencure did allow me to get 2 extra weeks of flowering though...ya bro guerilla growing is all i can do..the weed they sale around here is total shit..its got seeds all in the bag and stems in it and the weed dont even have that dank smell to it..its more like that old mexican brown comprest bullshit

I don't use neem oil or karanja oil as a soil drench. I add neem seed cake in to my soil at about a 1/2 cup per cubic foot.

I use pro tekt as both a foliar and soil drench. Apx a 1/2 tsp per gallon applied once every 3 weeks until bud set

I would like to second the use of neem cake instead of the soil drenches; it also has beneficial more qualities than just pest control in an organic grow.

thanks alot bro..i wrote that ratio down ..only reason i am gonna use the karanja oil is bc it has similar properites but according to a study by cornell universitry karanja is actaully stronger on its effects on pests..it did 3 studys one with neem oil,one with karanja alone and then the neem and karanja combined did has alot better effect then either alone...it also said that karanja is superior to neem so i suppose its stronger..
does the neem meal also keep the fungas gnat larave and other bugs out the soil? so i wouldnt have to do drenchs then would i? only reason i choose to do soil drenchs is because it says it lasts in soil anywhere between 5-22 days and neem breaks down in Uv lights..i dont know personally bc i have never used nothing

there is a thread over on ic mag i been reading about doing soil drenchs bc it is a systemic..and i tought why not do the soil drench instead of just folair alone bc i could kill the bugs in the soil and also the entire palnt would be covered with it being a systemic..but im gonna get that 5lb thing of neem seed meal and 5 lb of karanja seed cake as well and might just use those for soil and use the karanja& neem with protekt as a spray about ever 3 weeks

I have a huge organics place near where I live, they focus on sustainable living. Its an organic growers dream.

neem meal and karanja cake is extrememly beneficial. Id stay away from drenching your soil with neem oil.

they sell it in bulk and its a big part of their water only super soil mix which is the best soil mix I've ever used by far.
Adding either to your soil would be great. I use neem oil only as a foliar spray along with comfrey/stinging nettles tea

Also if you plant stinging nettles in the vacinity of your plants you might deter some people that might accidently stumble along your grow ;)

im defo gonna get the neem cake and karanja cake meal now..the one i use is called neem pro 100% and their ppm is 3000 so its alot stronger then regualr neem or karanja used alone..im getting from from neemresource...also instead of soil drenches i cna just the neem and karanja oil cake to use it as systemic toool as a top dresher then cant am? and it will still use the PPM per plant and also give them a healltht root and killl plantes around the lot

do u know if doing neem, protekt and karajnaa...i know neem is systemtic and last 22 days in soi l hence why i wanted to soil drench it...but if i cna just add the cakes willll be better since im gonna addd both karanja oil& neeem oil and i will only have to add protekt as the soi l srench....im gonna get mine from neem from pro mix 100%

here is the website to the neem oil...but they dont have karanja..i think i will get the neen cake& karajaja meal since they come from same company

Dafuq did I just read?... lol.

Just get regular neem and karanja cake meal and put it into your soil as an amendment before you cook it. The super-soil I use can be reused over and over for 6 months with barely any additional amendments. if you feel you need more use the meals as a top dressing even though you probably wont need to. if your talking about neem OIL which i think is what I read just save it and use it as a foliar spray to repel/kill spider mites but if you add both meals directly to your soil you probably wont get many pest problems. I had horrible experiences with mites and fungus gnats.. the neem & karanja meal difenitely keep them off my leaves and out of my soil. Drenching the soil that neem meal with neem oil is over kill. just be smart about it theres a lot of organics you can use to help repel pests like foliar sprays of kelp/ stinging nettle

Yea really though sounds like your cocked locked and ready to rock...
but yea that really sucks gnats are a real pain once you get em.. If the gnats come back after you do a soil drench to kill of the larvea you should think about adding diatomaceous earth (food grade) they will never come back (or you could use it from the very beginning). Instead of chemically killing the larvae and any adult that lands on it DE will kill off insects (not just gnats) because the sand contains tiny shards of silica that shreds up insects as if they are trying to dig through or walk on shards of glass. Some mix it directly into their potting mix but I wouldn't. Plus it provides trace amounts of silica for your plants. I think this will be your best bet plus its no maintenance and fast draining...

thanks alot..im gonna be useing all organic soil that im getting from the hills...there is plenty of fallen trees and the soil is so black its insane...i get 5 gallon buckets of it and carry it to each my holes that i dig..its hell of alot of work but damn that stuff grows me 10-14 foot monsters..i dont think there is no soil they make that will beat the natural organic material around fallen dead trees that i can find at least..i will just get the neem and karanja seed meal and not do the soil drenchs with it..i will just use the neem oil, karanja oil and protekt as folair and let the neem and karanja seed meal take care of the stuff below..i will use the plant sucess and actinovate as a soil drench once and them let the microbes take over lol..thanks for all the respones guys i really appreciate it
