New to rollitup.org - New CFL Grower - Think I may have issues already. Help!

New bulbs range between R95 to R200 ($9.5 to $20) and they last 5000 hours before they start to lose effectiveness.
That is 208 days if run 24 hours a day. It's for flowering so runs 12 hours a day. I could get easily 400 days out of a bulb.

There are serious leaps and bounds with LED's and growing happening at the moment but I still give it at the very very least 5 years before they will be cost effective as well as completely on par with HID.

If those were the prices I paid for a bulb then I would go that route too, and that behemoth was a example not what I am saying to grab lol, I think its ridiculous too. But the panel I suggested (Area 51) are half that for something that covers that same space and is a reputable dealer (not a sales pitch, don't even own one, just heard good things). I go for more panels than just one big one tho this is my preference.
Bulbs for a 1000w hps is 259 at a store nearby I just checked, don't believe me? bulb even has double the life expectancy of what you mentioned.

Yea I have heard of Area 51 and am interested, just seriously out of my budget for a hobby and as I said earlier, I have no recourse when something goes wrong.

Ok I'd say lose the miracle grow after this attempt. Foxfarm ocean forest with 25 percent perlite added takes all the guess work out of soil for me. You wont need nutrients for 30 days in his stuff. $20 shipped to my door is not bad for excellent soil to me. Next your cfls need to get closer. 5 inches away is gonna cause stretching in early veg, not good when you flower and they stretch 2-3x more naturally. You want to get the plants short and bushy wi cfl. That means get the lights close.....as in 1-2" inches. Watch the plants grow and make sure they dont grow into the cfl's. With watering less is more. Let it fully dry up 2-3 days before watering again. Use feed, watee, feed again. As for additives I like bud candy, big bud, and overdrive at the end.

Already transplanted a put into different soil. Read a few posts back.

This is a good place to start.

To be honest, I have this same thing posted in 2 other forums that I frequent. This is the only one I've gotten crap for lol. I like to get different opinions from different people and get real-time insight.

Haha that's true if I let my cat outside on accident he just munches on leaves in my yard, but he's cool. He doesn't go in the tarped area it's kind of blocked off. Plus he is old, his curiosity has shortened. He doesn't care wtf is in there lol.

Hey I'm from Co too! Fuck the dumb you did great at posting everything you needed that way you can get correct help. Definitely looks like nute burn. In the MG the nutrients are water soluble so every time you water they will get nutes. That's why you have a burn, try to see if you can get some regular soil and try to cut it so its about 50/50. The plants will bounce back its a weed it can grow in anything !

Go to nicks garden and get fox farms ocean forest big bag for $18 if you don't want to cut your mix, it may still be a lil hot for the babies yet they will do fine.

I give it 2 weeks max., before you have a list you write on daily of who to listen to, and who to ignore, and who to look for if you want a good laugh.
Just in case though, keep an eye on people's sig's, sometimes they have links to their grows like I do, and you can find a few things out about them real quick if you wanted to, rather than having to go to their profile and search.
