New to shatter

It might’ve got a little to hot during purge, it could be under purged but probably not if it taste good, some strains just won’t produce shatter.

It's not clean pure shatter, not saying there's anything wrong with it but whomever is making it doesn't have the system dialed in just right

Shatter is brittle at room temperature because it is mostly in carboxylic state and it is low in fats/lipids/plant waxes, as well as volatiles acting as solvents to make them more pliable.

If the material is partially decarboxylated, its melt point drops so it is no longer as solid.

High content of fats/lipids/plant waxes will soften the brittle carboxylic acids and make them pliable. They also make the concentrate harsh to dab.
Their levels are typically kept low using subzero extraction from -30 to -70C.

Retained water/LPG/alcohol soften the material and make it more pliable. Those are controlled using heat and vacuum during purge.

Lastly high mono and sesquiterpene content makes shatter more pliable and aromatic. While tasty, part of our target constituents, and part of the entourage effect, terpenes also make the concentrate harsher to dab, depending on which ones and their levels.

I personally prefer a well made pull and snap to a brittle shatter. Besides aroma and flavor, you don't have to periodically chase particles across the room dabbing with it.

Short and sweet now that you've heard the long version, is take a look at the visual quality of your concentrate. From the pictures it looks like they are cloudy, suggesting the presence of plant waxes, and I interpret your comment that it is terpish to mean it is aromatic.

Aromatic comes from the presence of terpenes.

I can't deduce retained solvent content from a picture, but if it has water it will crackle and pop when dabbed and if there is much LPG remaining you can taste it. A Butyl flavor that will remind you of how the air from an old innertube tastes and smells.
