New to site, also still a n00b to growing...need help with what supplies I should use

I have grown almost 60 plants last year and could only keep about 15 of them, long story short they got killed and now I'm here to do it again. I'm going to be buying some feminized diesel ryder seeds from attitude in the next few coming days. Last year I used fluorescent lights and one cfl. I'm not that experienced with weed so I'm not sure what I need this time. My area is about 3feet wide, 3feet deep, and 7feet tall. What supplies am I going to need for this grow? My budget is fairly small as I recently lost my job so don't suggest thousand dollar pieces of equipment, just the normal stuff so i can get a good yield off these plants and end up with around HOPEFULLY atleast 4-6ounces from 5plants.

something I forgot to add, what material do I need on the walls to reflect the light? I've hear aluminum foil works and at the same time I've also heard it can be dangerous and destroy the plants.

i need help wit the lights cause i dont wanna fry my plant, here are my light choices i can have 1 or 2 lights in it-

* 1-2 100 wat bulbs standard house lights
* 1-2 60 watt bulbs standard house
* 1-2 60watt bulbs with a yellow coating on them

could u give me advise on what would b the best bulb and how many

Well let see. my advice would be to get this bulb and get the matching ballast:

The above bulb can be used for the entire spectrum from veggin to buddin. $53.00 each and ballast $58.00 each and get a cheap hood say around $35-40.00 and a timer and your good to go but I imagine in a space that size you will have a heat problem. But the plants sure will get the light, and it should produce enough for 1-2 persons just fine JMO

I dont want to seem like an ass, but its probably going to turn out like that anyway. But can you not come post sh*t in my post and start your own? Your not going to get any good results with house lights, good luck trying though.

I don't really have the luxuries of buying stuff offline right now, but I do live in a fairly populated east coast state with Wal-marts, Home Depot's, Lowes, Ace, Lighting Stores, more Hardware stores. My point is, I'm ordering seeds with Attitude today and want to go to a store and pick up the other stuff with Cash. Any other help would be appreciated.

Also, one more quick thing. Attitude claims the Diesel Ryder is autoflowering. This will be my first time trying autoflowering. I need to know what store would sell Fox Farm soil/nutes. Now, I know how to germinate, plant, transplant, but how would I take of the watering and nutes, as well as my light schedule. And one last thing before I leave the comp, if anyone has experience with this strain of Diesel Ryder, please tell me about your grows / setups. Thanks everyone.

hi, to coat your walls,,,what i did was go to walmart...go to camping section and find the emergency blankets.. they reflect light very well..they're under 3$ each. they measure 52x82. for a cheap grow...nothing too serious i would just go with cfl.s. im using 26 watt 6500k's daylight cfl's, i bought at lowes. im using them for vegging. at home depot you can buy 150 watt 2700k's for flowering. they're 15 dollars each. hope this gives you a few ideas. gl.

also..while your at walmart, grab their digital thermostat and outlet timer. just a cpl more things your going to need.

you can buy an 4 pack of 26 watt 6500k's cfl's for vegging at home depot and lowes for around 10$ . your room is 3 wide and 3 deep. id buy 4 boxes and add more later as the plants get bigger if need be. i bought two boxes and im now thinking its not enough.. i'll need more soon. for flowering the 150 watt 2700k cfl for 15$ at home depot is a pretty good deal. im gonna start out with 3 of those. i may need more..id say grab 3 yourself and add more later if your not happy with results.
four 8 packs of 6500k for vegging equals 416 watts. not bad at all.
three of the 150 watt 2700k's equals 450 watts. i think it may work out fine in your closet. about 90 bucks for lights. or you could spend maybe 150 on an hid setup of some sort..all depends on ur situation..buy both if it suits you..just make sure you can vent out the heat discharged by hid's

bro i cant find FF where i am. i used miracle grow. i have a feeling im gonna be kicking myself in the ass. i really dont wanna order soil off the internet. i have to ponder this subject also.

what about a normal 15 watt florescent light? 1 or 2 in the case?

i just put 2 clf 10-15watt lights in there

I just told you the cheapest and best way for you to do what you want, the household bulbs you mentioned don't waste the seeds using them they will NOT work. The seeds will keep till you can order the lights I mentioned or if you find something better/cheaper/liked more then go that way. Without decent lights forget it, even a bunch of CFLs are better than what you mentioned, they will atleast give you a small crop.
