I am trying to be fair. Do you think $300 and ounce for mids is a decent price for someone that would like to resell?
New to this and in price negotiations.

$300 / zip for mids is pretty steep around here and weed prices around here seem to be some of the steepest in the us ime..
Depends of course where you live, ie, east coast prices are gonna be higher than west coast, but even still, 3 bills per for mids isn't a bargain by any means of the imagination

Would you say 250 would be more reasonable? This is southern east coast.
I'm just shooting in the dark, so it would help if someone threw a few numbers out. I've done a bit of research, but all the numbers I'm getting vary greatly; from $80-$350.

In my area mex brick goes 50 an oz. uncompressed mex/ nasty outdoor 70-100 . And mids are 100-150 pretty big leap then you got 300 an oz for good stuff.....I'm in tx though so mids being outdoor are super cheap just like the shwag......normally mids are outdoor. Sounds like its your homegrown? You could charge more if so

It's my own. It's curing right now, so I will get a few opinions on quality before I really do anything else. Yes it is outdoor and I know that makes it "crappy" weed automatically. Sold a little on consignment in the past, but they said they could only sell it for $10 a gram; and I think they were fleecing me. Then I didn't get the money the last time, so... I done with them. I would have rather sold it wholesale to someone I trust and been done with it.
never sell large amounts on a pay back promise. always cash up front.

That's very sound advice. I've been stung before quite a number of times (non-cannabis related), so I don't trust people and try not to give them any opportunities to screw me over. They only got me for my % on 4 grams, so it's not the end of the world.
I'm only trying to pay off my school debt so I can go back in the fall and put some in savings for my son. Other than that, I had no intentions of selling. I didn't have any intentions to continue growing either, but that stuff gets in your blood man, lol. Thank you all for putting up with my ignorance.

I sure hope you mean future kid.. outdoor being most likely to get found, they will take your kid and it seems your a bit gullible if they tell you 10 a g and you don't believe it or whatever and the money up front.... sorry not trying to insult. No, I know. I started this grow before I found out I had a kid. Kid does not live with me. I downsized a LOT when I found out. I've been stung in the past by being charitable to people, helping out friends and never getting repaid. It was someone I trusted telling me the people they knew would only pay $10 for a gram; same person was selling it on consignment. I think I can get a bit more from the right people because we usually have dried up brick weed in this area and THAT is what they pay $10 for. Idk... that's why I'm asking you guys.

I'm trying to get rid of my harvest. I'm of the philosophy that "negotiations" should be a win for both parties (or at the very least a compromise) and as thus I'm not trying to screw anyone over.

I think it really depends on ones definition of "mids". I would say $300/ oz for mids is not a fair price imho but again it also depends on the area as well. I see you said South East and from what I have heard the prices are pretty steep in that part of the country. I have heard it is not uncommon for eLBows of headies in FL to go for as much as $5,000 but again im not from that region so I honestly don't know if that is true. Being the bible belt has some pretty steep laws I assume this info is correct and would love for someone to set me straight if it is not. Some of my friends call "mids" what I would call regs and vice versa would call some of the herb I call mids to be "dank/dro". I would say $150-$250 an oz is a perfectly acceptable price for mid grade buds by my definition. For the definition of what some of my friends go by (outdoor grown, semi compressed, lime green but with several seeds) I would say $100-150. Just this guys opinion.

Yeah, Hempy. The laws are crazy. It's a life sentence for growing in a couple of states, so I'm just trying to get rid of it and get out. I have heard I grew some pretty awesome stuff, but the girl that ripped me off said they were mids, so I'm not putting much weight into her opinion. Also, she was selling to college freshmen that don't care what they buy and wouldn't know good product if it was right in front of their faces. I once asked her about the flavor and aroma and she thought that was a weird question, so it made me raise an eyebrow at the possibility that she may not know good product either.
Anyway, I'm done with her and am talking to someone that is willing to spend some money if it is good enough. I've inspected what he has bought in the past, so I know he cares/knows about good bud.

IMO a fair price would be around $210 for mids. That's $7.5/g to him, and allows for some profit on both sides.
