New to this Tiny PC Stealth Grow ( needing advice )

I recently started a closet grow that was once again interrupted so I moved my plants outdoors to try and let them survive until I could figure something out. I built a small pc grow box in a few hours and figured it would be good enough to grow in if I used the LST method.

I currently have two plants both are infested with spider mites which I have been treating by soaking plants in Dawn Dish soap water for about a minute and rinsing.

The problem with the box I made is its tiny using LST I could only see it being big enough to fit one plant that wouldn't have much room to grow. I'm just trying to see if I can pick up on this and hopefully build a bigger stealth case to grow a more larger plant or even a few.

TL;DR

The main problem I'm noticing is that the plants seem small after almost 4 weeks of veg. I need advice should I keep on trying to grow these or just cash out and start completely fresh? I would like to continue growing these to practice if you guys think Its worth the time. I feel like my stems are very narrow also.

Total veg time - 26 days
Soil - Just switched to - Hyponex Potting Soil by Scotts
Lighting - 2 CFL 100 W replacement bulbs 1600 lumens0619142040.jpg 0619142307.jpg 0619142307b.jpg

If you have access to other seeds or clones I'd say take your time setting up the PC grow of your dreams and start fresh, mite free. If you don't think you'll be able to get news ones I'd say transplant them after completely removing any and all soil from them, washing then rinsing the shoot half of them with soap and water, and then soaking the roots in clean warm water until all the soil falls of them. After that you'd very gently agitate the roots to remove any extra soil. Prepare an additional bowl of clean, room temperature water and a planting pot half full of soil. Very gently place the plant on top of the half-filled soil, then gently place the planter in the new bowl of water and let it slowly fill. Now, top the planter off with as much soil as you want it to end up having, and slowly raise the planter out of the water. TaDa! You have clean soil, intact roots, and no spider mites.
Or try whatever the next guy suggests. Good luck!

brother just build a grow room like 4 high by 3 by 3. an do a LST it will fit any where easy to build an cheap

i made one for veging. was 4ft high 5ft long 3ft in cast $10 for timber. £5 for black an white sheeting an put 8 50w clf in there. the clf are great for veg as they give of blue light witch plants love in veg. but as for you wee grow i think there is not enough light for the to grow 200w of light will get them start for a fact. buy some root boosting nutes for veg it will help then to start form nice roots. if you see them start to grow after new lights go it veg them for 24h for 2 weeks then they should be ready for flowering

good luck

Im also doing a pc grow, though i have about 16 inches for the plants not including containers and lights. I'm seeing signs of a deficiency and cant really figure out what it is. Leaves lower along the stem are turning yellow starting at the tip and turning completely yellow till they die and fall off. the newer upper growth has dying brown tips. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I saw the same results from bag seed, could be inferior genetics. It looks like theyre asking for light, lots of stretch. You should go by actual watts, equivalent and lumens are total bs. Lumens are a measure of what the human eye can perceive, not what the plants can use, and the lights could be a lot closer. Id have them 2-4 inches from the tops of the plants

If i were you id bend them down to the pots gently with bread ties or something over time and raise them as close to the lights as id said and let them turn up and do their thing. If nothing changes in a couple weeks id toss them and start new.

I can't really tell by that picture but your girl might be root bound. When they get root bound they show signs of a lot of deficiencies because the amount of root they have can't support the amount of shoots. If you pull the plant out and its roots hold the shape of the container, switch to a larger pot. This happened to me all the time when I started growing- I'd use 1.8 gallon pots, veg through flower, and if I let the girls go past two weeks of veg they'd show this deficiency half way through flower. However, if you check the roots and they are still fluffy and white, then disregard everything I just said lol.

one of the best cheap stealth grows i have ever seen was in a uhaul cardboard closet about 3ft tall, you can pick 1 up at a uhaul center they are ment to hold up clothes on a hanger and are plenty stout to hold lights and a fan . just try not to get it wet , although i think they are wax film covered so water may not effect them too awful bad . the guy just threw a dark bed sheet over it and put a cheap little light onit and put it right beside his bed .

I'm limited on space I had them located in closet till parents found it lol.. so I resorted to the smaller pc grow method to hopefully make a decent yield ( i know it'll be small)

Personally, I wouldn't grow in my parents house, and I won't advocate or be a part of giving advice to someone who is under the age of 21(I am assuming this because I hope you don't live in your parents house at age 30), in the methods of growing an illegal crop.

You're putting yourself at risk and your parents, it's not cool. I don't think bad of you, or anything of the sort, I just think that you should put off the whole idea of growing weed and smoking it, until you get out of your parents house.

Know what I mean? Be responsible, it's not only sets a good example, it will help you find other things in life that are far more important than the growing and smoking of marijuana.

Sorry, I felt the need to give the "parent" lecture.... LOL!
