looks great, good job. Thank you for your support
No problem! I've been running your equipment for a few years now. I'm honestly about to pick up a couple of the old 300w blurples you guys have for my early veg/cloning. My last 2 took in a little too much humidity and got fried lol. Cheap and effective though!

Some Blueberry OG I grew out under the blurples. Viparspectra is legit!

I'm just not buying this pic and this light. Nope. Na na.

Especially from someone with 4 posts. Nope.

The components they use are decent quality. Samsung lm301b diodes, and Meanwell drivers. There's no reason that they can't grow quality weed. Honestly I'd buy one of these fixtures before I'd buy a Mars Hydro or Spider Farmer fixture.
I get ya..........but 4 posts? You don't see something janky wanky here?

Ahh I see. So this light will give me amazing buds like in the picture above. Got ya.
It will give you the necessary light to grow in a 2x2 space. The rest is up to you. There is no magic light that will grow amazing buds if the gardener can't do the rest of the job. See how that works?

No. I'm very confused. Please continue.
You're just being obtuse now, but sure, let me humor you. As an example I could have the best light in the world, but as the gardener if I can't figure out how to feed my plants properly, I am likely not going to produce amazing weed, despite my amazing light.

These lights are pretty good all things considered, and if I wasn't a DIY type of a guy, and I didn't want to spend the money on a HLG prebuilt fixture, these lights are totally up to PAR (pun intended). If you buy these lights, use adequate wattage for your grow space, but can't grow decent weed with them, then that's gonna be grower error, not a fixture problem.

btw, a reverse image search of the bud in question shows no results, indicating that it is likely an authentic pic.

Question for those more knowledgeable than myself. How would 4 of the XS1000's compare to the HLG650 Scorpion R spec that I currently have in a 4x4 tent? Would the HLG light be worth the extra $$ over the cost of these lamps? I've been trying to help my neighbor get setup . . . time to order lights and he needs to save some $$ if he can. I've never used Viparspectra lights but these look to be really well made and have good reviews from what I've seen.

Scorp Rspec is 120 more watts and around 600 more diodes. It's an apples and oranges comparison. Maybe 6 XS1000'a would be a closer comparison to a Scorp Rspec, if you dimmed the XS1000's down to 100watts each.

Now this is not a competition, but here are some plants that I have growing under a Mars Hydro TSW 2000 in a 3x3x5... Mars Hydro does alright... I'm getting a light from these people here very soon... Not to compete with, I'm trying a different light out for each of my tents since I have so many and I want to start using single lights in one tent instead of multiple...20210329_210400.jpg

Thanks, I understand about the wattage and diodes . . . maybe I didn't phrase my question correctly. We looked at the provided PAR charts for the XS4000 and the smaller versions and thought that 4 of the XS1000's would come closer to the coverage and intensity I am getting with the HLG than the XS4000 would.
