greetings to all my fellow stoners out therre!
i decided to start growing organic and got some of those jiffy peat moss things to start off with..
i have 10 mangoes, 2 feminised buddha cheese, 1 feminised afghan kush and 2 random swiss outdoor mixes implanted in my jiffy pots.
more than half of 'em broke open within 48 hours(yay!) after i planted them.
now the question at hand is that i think they were planted way too shallow, i practically seeded them at the surface..
i have them clustered in a shoe box for now and every now and then i check up on them to see how they are doing =)
some of the roots(?) have sprouted from the top part and are curling back downwards so i think this is just nature's way of doing things so that should be fine right?
does anybody think the shallowness of the seedlings will be a problem? i already spotted out a few that seem somewhat weak in terms of where they are so i kinda dug out a little passage with a toothpick and had them go down a lil bit and placed more soil over and around 'em just to make myself feel better.
was that a good thing to do?? or should i let em be?
so far the healthiest looking one is the cheese, my favourite. yuummmmm.
thanks in advance for any help or advice =)
