Hey tokies, need some advise on my first ever grow. sry aint got any camera to post pics up...so i'll juz provide as much info as i can.
I sprouted a bagseed and grow it in soil medium bought from farm (contains chicken manure, dirt etc etc). Sativa dominant as leaves are thin and long. I grow them in a cupboard size 1.5', 2.5' width, 4' height and cut a 4"X4" hole in the cupboard, grew in my room with AC without any fan used, ocassionally open the door lil bit as light gets slightly hot sometimes)
Week 1: One 23w 6500k CFL in 500ml cup grew to almost 5" and transplant to 1.5gallon pot.
Week 2 and 3: Added two more similar bulbs and it grew to slightly over a foot. Then i transplant again into a 4gallon pot (accidentally broke it's primary root, darn).
Week 4-5: Very little growth due to bad transplant started nute in middle week with NPK 21-21-21 once a week) and put it under sun for 12 hrs and CFL 12 hrs.
Week 6-8: Growth got going again and reaches to 2'. Then notice there were bugs in soil and pluck out about 10 one inch white caterpillars (damn buggers)
Started flowering with 12/12 switching to four 2700k bulbs and also used another 2 6500k bulb together (six 23w bulbs in total with NPK 14-24-20)
First 2 weeks of flowering, no sign of sex.
Week 3 flowering: upper branch nodes shows white pistils.
Week 4 flowering: Lowest i.e. 1st and 2nd branch node show balls (1-6 small balls on each branch nodes, knew they were balls as they look different from the calyx with pistils) and upper nodes begin to fill up with balls too (hermie?) and i continue flowering.
Week 5 flowering: Added molasses every 2 watering. Balls getting slightly bigger and i only pluck those on the upper branch nodes (kept those balls on 1st and 2nd branch nodes).
Week 6 flowering: pistils in upper node filling up well and more balls also shows on upper branch nodes ranging from 1 ball to 6 balls per node. I didnt pluck them as i notice some balls actually had pistils growing out of it (from these balls with white pistils growing out as it open more i was able to see some yellow like thingy and on the yellow thingy were small white pecs which i tot was pollens?
Then day 44 flowering i notice one of the 1st branch node (only one) growing something different and when i juz slightly touch it, it was powdered like and went into the soil (no wind in my cupboard). So i cut half of the 1st branch off.
Currently in day 52 flowering 2.7' tall with 22 branches all together, those calyx like with pistils doesnt seem to be getting any bigger nor do those balls like with pistils. Dont see any frost near those calyx like/ balls like pistils either. So far never seen any powdered like thing also. And half of the 1st branch shows pistils now. from day 46 to 52 it only grew about 1.5cm in height. I only have about 3 inches of vertical space left now. The 1st 7 branch fan leaves had fallen and lower branch secondary fan leaves starting to yellow and fall also.
My question is when will those calyx (or bud) start to get bigger or will they ever get bigger? Appreciate any good advice, thanks!
