Newb question lights on before sprouting?

Like the title says. seed is germ'd in the party cup watered it in. The grow area is a little on the chilly side and I am heading outta town for a night and just wanted to make sure it was ok to have the lights on before sprouting. Thanks guys

i use party cups watered in with plastic wrap on top with a daylight cfl on 24/7 works 100% for me
