newb question on clones

when u buy clones and they have the pistils does that mean the mother was already flowering and the clones need to revert back to vegatative state?

Most likely it just means the mother is showing pre flowers, something many plants at that age will do.

Your clones will grow very quickly given the right conditions, my clones typically show pre flowers at 2-3 weeks after they've rooted.

...although you can still cut clones from a flowering plant, you'll also see preflowers if you let your plants stay in veg until fully mature.

well it could have been flowering. or they just made sure the plant was female before taking clones. and u can 12/12 when roots pop or just put it on 24 cycle and let it get as big as u want before switching to 12/12 andits a good sign that u have pistol u dont want a male to pop nuts on u if u got pics post em.

Myself I only take clones from a mature plant. This way they root in less than 5 days, and grow fast and full in veg.
