Newb to nutes

Well I guess I learned a lot about nutes, long story short I was real against using nutes on my plants and just attempted to let nature take its course. Well I'm well over my strains flowering period (probably 8-9 weeks in now) and barely any progress, water PH'd properly and my grow tent is tightly sealed from light leaks, good air flow inside and around 12000 lumens of CFL. So I went against my will and purchased some 4-14-8 bloom builder. It doesn't have good directions for mixing except for 3 oz per 100 sq ft. Seeing as I have a 5 gal pot I broke it down to 1 mL per 1 gal of water ( I feed 1 gal every 2 days) and assumed this a very safe mix.

Well I learned my lesson, I fed once with this mix and wow, the bud sights grew 3x as big and got much more hairs, the plant bushed out more and has started to have that oh so familiar odor. I'm very happy now and expect over the next 4-6 weeks to have a ready to harvest plant.

If anyone can perhaps recommend a better mix than my previous 1 mL/gal please input. I searched for tiger bloom but they never heard of it so this is as good as I can get locally.

Pics now of the plant after some nutes.
if anyone has any grow advice for me, like water amounts, nute amounts, etc please let me know. This will be my first successful grow this year so I'm trying to be safe yet get a decent harvest.

Lol, naturally in the wild plants gets nutrients from the soil. By growing indoors and by not providing food you are starving them. It's hard to believe it survived with no food; I believe your soil came with food mixed in. Future refrence you can get natural nutes that are made from various kinds of animal shit. (roots organic)

I'm not sure what you're using exactly but you can likely add 1-2 tbsp of 4-14-8 per gallon and alternate water and feeding schedules.

Mircale grow comes with 6 months (plenty of food in the soil) for a whole grow, start to finish, and Ive had better luck with that shit than i have with top dollar nutes, and ferts. lol go figure.

Awesome thanks for the responses, and my soil was actually nute-less, just soil Peat moss and vermiculite. Oddly it was $1.00 a bag.
and I shall try 2 mL/ gallon here on. Seeing as there is roughly 30 mL per ounce (29.975 mL) and 3 ounces feeds 100 sq ft of soil, I figure I have close to 2 sq ft in my 5 gallon container so each mL covers roughly 1 sq ft, so around 2 mL should sufficiently feed my plant per gal of water.

And 2mL is fairly close to a rounded tbsp.

Just one plant, but thank you. Trying my hand at it slowly with one til I get the feel of it and do 4-5 at a time.
right now it's about 13 weeks, 5 weeks veg 8 flower. But I went nute-less and stunted real growth so that was my fault.
thats why I started with one plant incase I screwed up to learn by :).

i figure 4 more weeks and it should be ready.
