NEWB using R/O-DI water... PH issues?

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I'm growing for the first time and where I live the water is horrible. I recently purchased a Reverse-Osmosis De-Ionizing water filtration system and it works like a charm just stripping the water of everything... 0000ppm.
My question is about PH levels while using R/O water. My target PH is 5.9-6.0. After filtering the water through the system it comes out with PH @ 8.1. I realize that I have to PH after adding any nutrients, but what about plain water for spray bottles, or if I need to just use plain water in relation to my cannabis plants in any way? Do I need to PH the plain water? I have tried and just one single drop of PH down takes 8.1 plain R/O water all the way down to a PH of 3.9. I usually throw away mixtures if I add too much PH up or down and start over so as to not play roller coaster with my solutions and PH.
What does everyone do to PH plain water?
Is it necessary when spritzing the foliage with plain water?

If you add cal/mag to your to water it will stabilize it since your 000000 ppm water has nothing to buffer it
As far as for spraying it without buffers idk but I do know tjat no fungus will grow on the leaves if the pH of the leaves is that high as for as flushing yea I'd want to add cal mag to it first otherwise you won't beable to stabilize the pH the water will become what ever the soil is

Welcome to RIU, and the wonderful world of cultivating the world's most misunderstood and feared medicines!!!

The only 'advice' I can give you or anyone is to read and learn and then apply what you have read and learned to your garden and you cannot fail. Anyways, remember the search tool is your friend...Lots of folks here willing to help a new farmer get up and growing. But at the end of the day your grow will be only as good as the knowledge and work you put into it.

It is always great to ask questions but do not take anyone's advice or opinions and follow blindly. And remember anyone may have a well-known member status…but that means they have posted and responded to many threads and does not always mean well-educated growerz. Do your own research, you will be much happier knowing you have done it for yourself and by yourself. The first buzz you get from your own budz...is by far the BEST high you will ever have!

Do a search using your current question as the keyword(s) and ZOOOM!! Like Wonka's Great Glass Elevator…off you go to tons of threads answering all your questions. Read all the Newbie Central stickies and learn…

Soaking up all that information and sifting through it, is going to take time. You will likely finish your first grow by then. Viola! grow complete and education well under way.
