hi all,
i have found a plant growing out in my back yard, no idea how it got there because it is growing in between some laid slabs.

it is about 7/8inchs tall, was wondering would it survive if i brought it inside?
i will have to lift up the slabs either side off plant (obvisiouly)

cheers smithy :bigjoint:

forgot to add that the reason i want to bring it indoors is because were i live is to risky to grow outdoors, plus the plant is just outside the conservatory door

what is imao?

And if it's in his back yard...who's gonna shoot him...yeah...take it inside dude.
Might get a little transplant shock but besides that should be good!

Good luck!

take a large chunk of the ground its grown into to make sure you get enough root id say soak it the day before you try and dig it out

Wait, seven-eights or seven to eight inches tall. I assume the latter. Like the guy above said, water it well the day before or early the day of and then dig a perimiter around the plant. A good rule of thumb is that the root system looks like a mirror image of the plant above it, though the tap root can be twice as long as the plant is tall.

Dig a suitable perimiter and scoop it out.

thanks everyone who replied, sorry haven.t updated, but have been away in london for the past few weeks.

obviously with being away, i havent been able 2 move the plant, so have decided to let it grow outdoors
