Newbie asks: Time to harvest? (pics)

First timer wondering if it's time to harvest OR how long should I wait? Also, how to dry & how long? Thanks VERY much!

Seems like you have a bit more time to go, but the best way to tell is to look at the color of the trichomes, should be about 2/3 of them amber in color.

For drying, after you cut them down and manicure them they should be hung for about 2 or 3 days, where the stem will snap off clean and the outside of the bud is dry and the middle is still somewhat moist. From there, you want to cure the buds for about 4 weeks (for an OPTIMAL smoke)

Looks like a bit longer jst based on pistils. Beautiful plant though. Keep it up!

If it is a 8 week strain i always give it 1 extra week this will increase crstal formation and weight.I always dry the same way a old shoe box cardboard great the card helps pull the moister out of the buds.But any you will have to turn them every day just to get even drying.Enjoy the fruites of your labour.tyke

2-3 days dosent seem like enough drying time to me taking a chance of mold in ur curing jars what strain u gowin there??

...a friend planted it from a seed in late May. Thanks.
