HMMM this thread started me thinking maybe what RIU needs is a new forum that is concisely and consistently moderated to maintain it's purpose of encouraging farmers. I know we have newbie central and that is great. What I am talking about is a 'troll free zone'

It sounds like the reason.. I start all my plants under 8 T5 bulbs at 3-4 inches away

Ok so yesturday I was doing some LST and steped on one of the strings snapping a branch.
as you can see it was almost all the way. I tried tying it up an putting a string around it to hold it. I would of loved to use tape but other branches prevented me from doing so. Well I let it go for the night. When lights came on I went out and it moved so there was no way it was going to heal. So I decided to try and reveg it. It's 4 weeks 3 days in flower. Sence all my hydro systems are taken and I'm doing a out door grow I went with soil on this. Had to remove a nice size branch so I would have 2 inch stock to place in soil.
Insted of trimming all the leaves like I do my clones I just took all the fan leaves that wernt in the buds.
And at this moment I can't get them in under 24/0 light to fully reveg I'm thinking of letting them go like this under 18/6 and next week placing in bigger pots and putting them back to flower and let them go. I will use this for people that ask for free buds.
So if you want to know how this works out for me I guess you better stick around. And keep this thread informative.

1000 watt phs five feet above it on an 18 6 and my bad didnt kno how to write it im still in that akward stage of still trusting the signs

just an office size lamp i kno an mh would be better bt i spent a grand on everything

I start with the 8 T5's until I have full sets of leafs and 5th node.ish then move straight from my half gallon grow bags to 5 gal buckets under a 1000w MH
